Glimpse of Past

A girl of 19 years getting out of cell (prison). Two police officers are more than happy seeing her getting justice finally..

1st officer : I m so happy Naira that you are finally out of all this..

She smiled palely..

Naira : But I m really scared to face the world Abhishek..

2nd officer : But why.. you did nothing wrong right..?? So why should you be scared..!!

Naira : I don't know.... It's just... I was in the jail for so long.. this is a fact.. anyways I really want to thank you both for....

Abhishek : How many times do I need to tell you to stop thanking us...

2nd officer : But I am really surprised about the fact that no one from your family came to... (With a pause) we did inform them that you are...

Naira : What is new in this.. I already told you they are not going to come Sir.... Oh sorry Kartik..

Kartik : Chalo at least you remember I told you to call me Kartik and not sir as you call Abhishek by his name also..

Naira : Okay I should leave now..

Abhishek : Wait, what!! Leave?? Where will you go??

Kartik : Listen Naira, at least you try going back to your family.. I am sure there is some kind of misunderstanding in all these whatever happening..

Naira : It's okay.. you don't worry please..

Abhishek ( to Kartik) : Sir, we can drop Naira at her house.. isn't it??

Kartik : Yes we can.. let's go.. Its..

Naira : Please!! The police force is not here to drop everyone to their houses.. you both have already done so much for me.. I can't take anymore favours..

Kartik : But..

Suddenly another officer comes and tells them that their senior is calling them since they are outside for so long.

Naira : Kartik Abhishek you both please go.. You both are on-duty now.. I will leave.. farishta banke aae the aap dono mere life mein.. ab main chalti hu..

Abhishek : Take care Naira..

Naira : I will..

She looked at Kartik who just smiled.. his smile was a bit confusing.. Yes he was confused.. no doubt he was the happiest person to see her finally getting justice but somewhere he was already missing her..

Kartik (to himself) : What is wrong with you!! She's getting a new life.. finally.. and you.. !!

They finally bid good bye.. Naira went towards the road and they went inside..
