I'll Heal You

Chapter 4

Naira couldn't stop herself from smiling thinking about him, about his sweet gestures. And the same was with Kartik too.. Doing some household chores Naira drifted to sleep still thinking about him.. she has to leave for college also in about 3 hours or so.. on the other hand as Soon as  Kartik reaches his home he found himself surrounded by bunch of questions from his one and only sweetest mother who was in tension as to where her son has went so early.. he managed it somehow and went to his room.. he kept thinking about her all the time with a smile pasted on his face.. he also has to get ready for office within few hours.

It's been 3 months already.. with each passing day they were getting closer and growing a beautiful bond.. not only Kartik but Abhishek also bonded well with Naira and the trio often goes out for having coffee or movies or just simple walks on their off-days.. Kartik often takes Naira for a ride .. sometimes in his bike and sometimes in car.. they spend their quality time with each other.. almost every day he picks Naira from her college and drop her home, and also picks up from call center and again drop at home.. and picking from home and dropping at college..she told him several times not to take so much of effort for her but all in vain... He would never listen to her and always comes to pick her up.. it was not possible to pick her from her house and drop at college because that was his duty time.. and at times he could not make time due to some other works he asks Abhishek to pick her up and drop who gets more than happy doing this for his lil sister..

She sometimes feel she is the luckiest person in the world.. yes she might not have got her family and parent's support but these two never ever miss a chance to make her feel special and pampered..

They trio even hangout at her flat too.. and discuss about their life.. in this short span of time they really grew close..

Kartik was now sure that he has already fallen for Naira.. his own over-protective nature possessiveness care towards her has help him understood that he is in love with her.. he did not forget to notice if Naira also feels the same for him or not and he was sure he saw something for him in Naira's eyes.. he somewhere knew Naira also likes him.. but Kartik did not know how to confess his love to her..

Yes Naira likes him.. Naira also realised with time that she generated some feelings for him.. but she was confused.. she did not know what kind of feelings are they.. she felt good happy secure when she is with him.. but she also feels secure and all that stuffs with Abhishek as well.. but no.. something was different.. but what.. she was confused.. or no.. it's just that she didn't want to get the answer.. she fears something.. something she also have no idea about..

Juggling with their feelings Kartik and Naira were having coffee at her flat and discussing some random stuffs.. okay this was supposed to be a trio session but Abhishek could not make to her place.. he got stuck in some official work..

Kartik : Accha Naira, ek baat kahu.. tum gussa to nahi hogi na..??

Naira : Kya bolo.. aisa kya bologe ki main gussa ho jaungi..

Kartik : Woh.. main bol raha tha ki.. abhi hua na bahut din.. can we not go once and try solving the matter with your family..??

Naira got irritated listening to him.. Naira is fed up with this now.. in these 3 months this is probably the 4th time he is saying this.. Everytime she ignored but now..

Naira : (with weired depth in her voice) Kitni baar mana kiya hain kitni baar..  yaad Hain.. kitni baar..  (now standing and almost yelling at him)  Kyun.. Kyun Kartik tumhe bahut acchi tarah se pata hain mujhe yeh baatein bilkul pasand nhi ho.. har baar aisa karte ho.. aur baar main ignore karti hu bhulne ki koshish karti hu yeh sochkar ki tum samajh jaoge par tum to.. nahi accha lagta hain mujhe yeh sab.. do you understand that.. !!???!!??..

She could not stand there more and ran to the kitchen..

Kartik : Arrey Naira suno to.. accha I am sorry..

He went behind her and saw her crying... He felt guilty.. he felt his world crushing to see her cry.. and that too because of him..

He went to her.. made her turn towards him by her shoulder..

Kartik : Naira I am sorry..  I am really sorry.. aage se aisa kuch nahi bolunga jo tumhe hurt Kare.. please tum ro mat.. I am really very very sorry..

Naira put her head in his chest and clutched his t-shirt near his waist..

Naira (still crying) : Tum mujhse promise karo ekdum pakka vala ki aage se aisa kuch nhi bologe kabhi nahi.. pleseeeee... Mujhe accha nahi lagta Hain..

Kartik who at first was startled, understood she needs him badly.. he started caressing her hair..
