Few more days passed.. Kaira grew more closer.. Kartik was looking forward for a suitable situation to propose her.. he was eager to tell her what he feels..

Whereas Naira continuously fought a battle between her heart and brain.. she was not ready to accept what she is feeling for him.. she feared if all these comes in between then she might loose the beautiful  friendship..

Naira lying on her bed looking at the ceiling was thinking all these when she heard the door bell.. the door bell was ringing continuously as if the person outside was getting restless..

Naira (to herself while getting down from the bed) : Kaun hai yaar.. ajeeb log bhare pare hai duniya mein.. itna bhi kya jaldbaazi..

She opened the door and saw an overexcited Kartik there.. who hugged her immediately.. and what he did next was unexpected.. he lift up Naira moving inside the house and was twirling around..

Kartik : Nairaaaaa!!!!

Naira : Kya hua Kartik.. Kya kar rahe ho.. niche utaro please..

Kartik : Naira tumhe nahi pata how much happy I am..

Naira : Haan Kartik mujhe samajh mein aa raha hai.. par tum niche to utaro..

Kartik put her down..

Naira : Uff baapre kya ho gaya.. itni excitement..

Kartik hold her by her shoulder..

Kartik : Tumhe pata hai aaj kya hua hai??

Naira : Kya hua??

Kartik : Tumhe nahi pata aaj kya hua..

Naira : Arrey to batao na.. I m getting so restless now.. batao na Kya hua..

Kartik : Aaj..

Naira kept looking at him but he was just smiling..

Naira : Kartik aaj... uske baad..

Kartik : Aaj... kuch der pahle ghar mein ek letter aaya.. pata hai usme Kya likha tha..

Naira : Kya likha tha ...

Kartik : Usmein likha tha ki I am getting promoted in few days.. head office se letter tha.. usme yeh bhi likha tha ki they are very impressed by the progress I made..

Naira could not contain herself hearing such a good news..

Naira : Matlab.. matlab tum police inspector ban jaoge ab..

Kartik : Haan ... Sub-inspector se Inspector.. tumhe accha laga..??

Naira : Bahut accha laga Kartik.. u have no idea how happy I am for you..

She hugged him tightly...

Naira : Hmm... So a big big biiiiigggggg congratulations Inspector Kartik Goenka..

Kartik : Abhi bana nahi hu.. abhi se inspector mat bolo.. ajeeb lag raha hai..

Naira : Ahaan.. aadat daal lo Mr. Goenka..

They were just smiling looking at each other.. they were lost in their own world..

Kartik : Waise yeh news tumhe itna accha laga.. yaa sirf mujhe dikhane ke liye..

Naira : Pagal ho gaye ho Kya.. obviously mai khush hu.. Dil se khush hu.. tumhe promotion mil raha hai.. main khush nhi houngi to aur kaun hoga..

Kartik : Accha aisi baat Hain..

Naira : Haan ji..

Kartik : Par kyun..

Naira : Kya matlab..
