Kartik : Because I love you..

Naira widened her eyes..

Naira : What!!!

Kartik realised he finally told her in the flow.. he kept staring at her..

Naira : Kya kaha ??

Kartik : I love you..

Naira : Pagal ho gaye ho .. haan!! Pagal ho gaye ho Kya?? Yeh kya bakwas kar rahe ho?? Wait wait tum kahin sympathise to nahi kar rahe ho na.. I mean .. I mean kal jo bhi hua usske baad tum abhi compensate karne ke liye yeh sab bol rahe ho..

Kartik got hurt by her words.. he loves her with everything he has and she is accusing him like this..

Kartik (angryly) : Stop it Naira !!! I said just stop it!! Tumhe ho kya gaya hai yaar.. kyun itna ajeeb behave kar rahi ho.. how many time do I need to tell you that you are different to me.. yes you are.. aur tumhe yeh sab compensation aur sympathy lag raha hai..

He tried to calm himself, went to her was going to hold her but remembered she said him not to touch her so he took back his hands in the midway but stood there in front of her..

Kartik : Naira.. main koi bakwas nahi kar raha hu.. I love you.. I do love you baba..

Naira : Kartik bass karo.. accha ek baat batao tum mujhse pyaar karte ho right!! To aaj tak kyun nahi bataya.. why now ?? Why now after whatever happened yesterday..

Naira : Kyun?? Matlab pahle bata dete to awkward kyun nahi hota..

Kartik : Haan to hum pyaar karte hai ek dusre se aur humein pata bhi hota so..

Naira : One second tumhe kisne kaha ki main bhi tumse pyaar karti hu??

Kartik also realised what he said but according to him that wasn't wrong.. that's why he said that.. he was finding words to reply her while staring at her..

Naira : Kya.. matlab kuch bhi soch lo bass.. khayali pulaao pakao baith ke.. tumne kabhi mujhse pucha.. nahi na..maine kabhi tumhe bataya.. nahi.. yeh bhi nahi.. so how did you reach to the conclusion that I also love you???

Kartik was all teary eyed after listening all this.. hurt was visible on his face.. he didn't knew this Naira.. he never saw her before..

Kartik : But I do.. yes I do.. and that's the ultimate truth.. tumhari koi bhi baat usse change nahi kar sakti..

Naira : Par kyun Kartik.. kyun tum mujhse pyaar karte ho.. please Kartik tum apne aap se aur ek baar pucho.. may be yeh infatuation ho.. hum roz ek saath itna time spend karte hai to shayad tumhe laga hoga ki..

Kartik : Maine kaha na tumhe jo sochna hai Socho.. usse sach nahi badlega .. mujhe pata hai what I feel aur wohi maine kaha...

Naira : Thik hai.. maine maan liya.. par yeh ek galti hai.. to yeh galti sudhaar lo jald se jald.. tum nahi kar sakte mujhse pyaar.. samajh rahe ho tum you just can't..

Kartik : Kyun??

Naira : Kyunki.. kyunki.. (her voice choking) Kyunki main jail jaa chuki hu.. main do saal jail mein rahi hu Kartik.. tum samajh rahe ho.. I am not good for you.. aur tum tum to ek police officer ho .. tum mujhse kaise pyaar Kar sakte ho.. ek police officer ek gunehgar se kaise pyaar Kar sakta hai..

Kartik (yelling at top of  his voice): Kya bakwas kar rahi ho tum?? Aur koi excuse mila nahi.. tum jail gai ho.. koi galti thi tumhari.. arerey bolo koi galti thi.. nahi thi.. to yeh sab baate kyun Naira..

Naira : Chillao mat!! Main bhi chilla sakti hu.. tum samajh nahi rahe ho.. tum mere saath rahego to tumhara reputation ka kya hoga.. tumhe sab Kya kahenge..

Kartik : What the hell!! Reputation?? Tum kyaaaaa bole jaa rahi ho.. jail , reputation!!  Godddd!! Listen to me very carefully Naira.. mujhe reputation ki kuch padi nahi hai.. I don't care log kya sochenge.. I don't give a damn to the society.. aur reputation ki agar baat hoti bhi to bahut logon ko aisa hi lagta hai ki we are dating kyunki hum humesha mere saath dikhte ho.. tumhare society vaale college ke students call center vaale sab ko.. kiski reputation down Hui.. bataogi Zara??

Naira : Par tumhare office mein to nahi pata na.. tumhare colleagues ko to nahi pata nahi.. unhe pata chalega to.. to tumhari kya izzat rah jaayegi.. woh log sab tumhe kitni respect karte hai..

Kartik : Phir wohi baat!! Main thak gaya tumhare saath bahas karte karte... I fail to make you understand kyunki tum sab khud hi assump Kar leti ho.. Fine!! Sau baat ki ek baat.. I am sorry I am really sorry for whatever happened yesterday.. tumhe jo saza dena hai dedo.. par apne baare mein yeh bakwas baate bolna ya sochna bhi band karo.. you were never at a fault.. and I love you.. yes I love you.. yeh baat main tumhe bolta rahunga.. chahe jo ho jaaye..

He took a deep breath..

Kartik : Waise bahut der se sawal kar rahi ho mujhe.. ab meri baari.. the most important question iss vakt Ka.. do you love me..??

Naira looked at him..

Kartik : Answer Naira do you love me??

They both were in tears but this time hearing the question a tear finally made its way through her cheek..

Naira : Kartik.. Kartik tum please baat ko samjho.. main yeh sab sambhal nahi paungi.. tumhe to sab kuch pata hai.. mere family ke saath bhi relation mera thik nahi hai.. yeh bhi main nahi sambhal paungi.. I will destroy everything.. our friendship will get ruined..

Kartik : Kuch ruin nahi hoga.. aur tumhari family ke saath jo bhi hai why are you blaming yourself for that.. usseme tumhari kya galti.. anyways I asked you something.. do you love me or not..??

Naira ( being a bit serious) : Tum abhi yahan se jaao Kartik..

Kartik got more hurt listening to this.. she asking him to leave was totally unexpected..

Kartik : Naira??

Kartik : Maine kaha na tum jaao yahan se.. mujhe thodi der akela chod do please..

Kartik : Fine .. chala jaunga.. par answer liye bina nahi.. first you have to tell you love me or not.. uske baad chala jaunga..

Naira knew she also loved him.. but she wasn't ready to accept.. she was looking everywhere but not at him..

Naira : Mujhe nahi pata..

Kartik : Dekha tumne naa nahi kaha.. aur na hi mujhse aakhein mila rahi ho.. apne aap se pucho and you will get the answer..

Naira (mockingly) : Tumhe to jaise pata hai ki answer kya hai.. tum to mujhe mujhse bhi acchi tarah se jaante ho na..

Kartik : Yes.. you are right.. actually!! Actually I know you better than you know yourself aur yeh tumhe bhi pata hai..

Naira : Maine jawab de dia ab tum please jaao..

Kartik (being hurt to the core) : Itni baar kya bol rahi ho.. jaa raha hu.. par mujhe mera answer mila nahi.. 'mujhe nahi pata' koi answer nahi hota.. anyways tumhe mujhse problem ho rahi hai na.. irritate ho rahi ho na.. cool!! I am going..

He went out in anger banging the door behind her.. she stood there with tears brimming out of her eyes and the door closed with a thud..

Naira hurt him.. a lot... every word of her pierced through her heart.. the most he got hurt was by the way she was underestimating and blaming herself... with a heavy heart and teary eyes he reached his home and quickly left for the police station..
