I open my eyes and see a boy, his back turned. The boy of my dreams, the boy who is very special to me. I see his feet dipped in the river as he sits on a log and fish's. His blond fringe shines from the reflection of the sun. He turns and looks at me. His ocean blue eyes twinkle as he waves to me, motioning to come and sit by him.

As I walk over he says something, but I can't understand him. I ask him to repeat what he said, his mouth moves but no words escape. Then it's as if the whole world went silent and everything is slow. I cannot hear the birds chirp, the bee's buzz, the river run.

Complete Silence

As I continue to look at the boy, I notice his expression quickly, yet slowly, changes from happy to frightened. His finger slowly lifts and points to something behind me. He looks to be yelling, but I can't hear him. I finally turn around and see a small bird coming towards me. I look back at the boy, but it doesn't seem to be the same boy I saw moments ago...

This young man was much taller then the boy, even when sitting. His hair was no longer in a fringe but was pointing towards the sky . He had on a uniform of a soldier, but I am not sure to what nation he belonged to.

It was brown and he had gold buttons up his jacket, and leather knee-high boots. On his left forearm was a red band with a white circle in the middle. There was another marking inside the circle, black, but before I could look at it, he put his finger underneath my chin and pulled it towards his face. As I gazed upon it I noticed something very familiar about the young man. I couldn't quite put my finger on it.

While I continued looking, I saw his right arm move. I look down and see him grab a pistol and place it near my head. He cocked it and pulled the trigger. No noise came. I place my hand on my head to examine the damage, but I feel nothing. No pain, no blood; nothing.

I then turn around and see the bird from earlier dead at my feet. He was blue, and had the longest wingspan I have ever seen. I turn back to look at the young man and I suddenly hear him say "Dangerous". I search his face and I instantly recognize him. I could never forget those ocean blue eyes.

I sit up from my bed realizing it was only a dream. Until I turn and the boy from my dream is laying fast asleep, right next to me. A small pin of blue bird is gripped in his hands.
