I woke up to the sound of small stones hitting my window. Hmm, what could that be? I get up and look out my window to see Reuben! I rush downstairs still in my pyjamas and open the front door. We have a gate around my house so he was waiting for me to open it. I fiddle with the lock and open it.
"What are you doing here!?" I ask Reuben.
"Thought I'd pop in for a sec." "It's 5 am Reuben."
"So?"
"I'm supposed to be asleep!" I say pointing up at my bedroom window.
"Ah, of course, the princess needs her beauty sleep doesn't she!" He teases.
"I'm not a princess!"
"You are right! You are my princess!"
"I uh what?"
"Anyway, I thought that maybe we could go to the park?" He asks changing the subject.
I hesitate, should I go? I really need to go to sleep. But here's my chance to get close to Reuben!
"Uh, sure."
"Let's go!"
We walk over to the park which isn't that far away. As we walk I see a cherry blossom tree, with blossoms falling as we speak, it really is beautiful. I point this out to Reuben and suggests we should take a selfie underneath the tree. We run over to the tree and I take out my phone, I say to pull a silly face and I stick out my tongue. After we take a couple of pictures we start walking again.
"So I was wondering if you'd like to go to Starbucks after school again?"
"Sure!" I reply.
"Phew."
"I was hoping you were going to ask that!" I chuckle.
"Yeah well I had a great time yesterday"
"So did I" I say because its true!
"We should be getting back" He says checking the time.
"Hey! Are you blushing!" I ask seeing a tiny pink splatter on his cheeks
"What! Noo!"
"Mhm, Anyway let's go back" I say heading for the exit.
We go back, by the time we get there it's 6 am. He walks me to the gate and I see him smile slightly, I smile back and lock the gate.
I decide there's no point in going back to sleep and decide on my outfit

I put on some burgundy lipstick and a bit of blush. I put on a leather jacket and look in the mirror. Even though I was up early I was running late so I got a breakfast bar and rush over to the bus, Lola and Lilith were already there.
"Hey girl hey," Lola says being the sassy girl she is.
"Hi guys," I mumble still not used to having friends.
"Yo dude love the t-shirt" Lilith says pointing at my 'I'm emo but in a Gerard Way" shirt.
"Thanks!" I say happily.
"Your emo too! Yay, we can all go to hot topic and you and can buy things and I'll talk to Aaron!" Lola exclaims.
"Oooh, is Aaron that guy at the till?" I wonder out loud.
"Maybe!" Lola squeaks.
"Ooooooooh," Lilith smirks but she looks kinda sad at the topic.
"Shut up Lili," Lola says in a playful way.
"Sorry Heather!"
"Heathers reference!" Lola says giving Lilith or 'Lili' a high five.
"Here's the bus!" I say, ruining their cute moment.
We get on the bus and I see Reuben. Lilith and Lola sit together and Reuben signals for me to sit beside him so I do. I grin at him and he does the same. I walk into my first class with Lilith which is art. The teacher tells us to draw our partner and mine is Lilith. I start sketching her face while she does mine. We walk out of class and go to our next class.
*Time skip to lunch*
I buy a small salad and a bottle of water for lunch, Lola got a chicken burger and Lilith got a chip wrap (They're a thing okay!). I chat away to my friends then Reuben taps on Lola's shoulder
"Sorry but I need to steal Lola for a sec" He says to me and my friends.
"Hmm, why at this particular moment do you need Lola?"
"Uh I need her to tell her something about our homework anyway let's go," He says, moving so she can get up.
"Okay"
Lola's POV We go outside and sit down on a bench.
"I've got a question, Lola"
"Hit me with it!" I reply not knowing what he was going to say.
*Play song but change Jake to Miara and cut out the squip part*
"Wait, you like Miara!!!!"
"Yeah, I have ever since the tripping accident" He says recalling the moment.
"So when are you going to tell her?"
'Honestly, I don't know,"
"Be her secret admirer!!! Miara loves books with those in them!" I say remembering what she told me.
"Really?" He asked contemplating doing it.
"Yep."
I tear out a page from my notebook and tell him to write a lovey-dovey poem. He agrees and starts writing.

"Perfect!" I squeal taking a picture of it to show them on their wedding day.
"Let's put this in her locker."
"Okay! This is so much fun!" I yell because nobody I knew was outside.
We rush over to Miara's locker, thank god she's not there yet! I put it in and grin at Reuben as we walk back to the cafeteria.
"What took you so long?" Miara questions catching Reubens eyes mid sentence.
"There was a big crowd at the doors and took forever to get by," He lies.
"Oh okay" She goes back to eating.
Miara's POV They're acting weird but I ignore it. I walk over to my locker and a note comes out. As I read it I think "Somebody likes me!!!" As the school day passes by I keep wondering about the note. The school bell rings and I go home to get changed for hanging out with Reuben.
