Miara was always messed up. At just seven Miara's mother died with an incurable disease. Her sister left her to go with her boyfriend to college when she was 12 and her father was an workaholic and was very neglectful...
I wake up half hanging from my bed so I slowly stand up trying not to fall. But I fall anyways and cut my elbow. Absolutely wonderful! I finally stand up and go over to my closet. I pick out an outfit with a long-sleeved grey shirt and black jeans with boots. I start my make up and do concealer, eyeshadow and mascara. I put on a small necklace and check the time. I have no time for breakfast so I just run out the door.
When I get to the bus stop Lola and Lilith aren't there yet. They still aren't there when the bus arrives so I go without them. As I step onto the bus everybody points and whispers at me. Strange. I sit a the back by myself because Reuben wasn't there either. Everything seems odd.

Of course, the voices start again. That's why I'm new to this school I was going to therapy but it didn't help so my dad decided to move. A feeling of panic rises in me. I quickly hop off the bus and go to my locker. There is a big crowd around my locker. I push through the crowd and get to my locker. Bitch Depressed Asshole Slut Worthless There was a lot more but I run away to the girl's toilets and lock the door and just sit there. I start to scratch my wrist imitating a razor. I make small cuts on my hand but they aren't big enough to notice. I silently cry to myself knowing that it's all true. All my friends probably know about this and are avoiding me who could blame them?
Lola's POV
I check my social media. All over Instagram are memes of Miara. Ones like: Awwe look Miara's gonna cry! Etc, etc. I look at couple more pictures and a picture of her locker. Her locker is wrecked! I show Lilith and we run to school. We go over to her locker and see crowds of people it's quite terrifying actually. We try to think of where she was but then a girl who looks like some kind of queen bee person walks into the middle of the crowd. We try to stay out of all the 'popular' people drama.
"Ha she sooooo deserved it!!" The girl in the middle laughs.
"Hahahaahaha," Her minions copy.
"Hey who are you? And what do you have against Miara!" I say, standing up for my friend.
"Funny she actually 'friends'. I'm Luna, she's Nella and she's, Rebekah" The middle one Luna says giving me a cold glare.
"Anyway leave Miara alone!" My gi-friend yeah friend said.
"Awwe nope fresh meat is always fun to pick on!" Luna giggled and turned back to the crowd forming behind her.
I whisper to Lilith that I know where Miara might be! We run away quietly to the girl's toilets. We walk in and look around
"Miara you there?" I ask, knocking on the only locked stall door.
"Go away!" Miara shrieks.
"C'mon M you can come out now nobody's here!" Lilith says, trying her hardest to get her to come out.
"Okay," Miara slowly comes out of the stall.
When Miara fully came out of the stall she was in we run over to hug her. Her face is cover in tear stains and eyeliner and mascara. She looks lifeless like all the words that were said to her sucked everything out if her. We fix her makeup and go look for Reuben. We think we see him sitting outside he looks like he's looking for someone. Also he was biting his nails just like Miara! They are meant for each other!
"Are you okay Miara?!!!" He asks then he pulled her into a hug and I secretly took photos for my shipping shrine!
"I-I'm fine" She lied. Those two can lie to each other and they don't realise. Are the dumb or do they just trust each other loads?
"Are you sure?" He checks, pushing her hair out of her face.
"Yeah I'll meet you at Starbucks later okay?" She asks. I raise my eyebrows and smirk at Reuben, who is now blushing.
"Fine by me."
She walks away and goes out the gates and I assume goes home.
"Do you know how this started!?" I ask, now going ballistic.
"People wrote things on her locker right?" He checks, not really knowing the full story.
"Yeah but look at this" I show him the photos and memes of Miara. He puts a hand over his mouth in pure shock.
"This is cyberbullying!!" Lilith says still in shock.
"Yeah! We need to tell the principle" I say also still shook.
"Slow down Lola, Miara needs to do it her self I'll ask her at Starbucks."
Reuben says, looking over in the direction went home. Lilith and I both look at him smirking at our ship. He rolls his eyes and we all walk to our next class. My class is with Miara but obviously isn't there but weirdly the teacher doesn't ask where she is.
Miara's POV
I run straight home. I grab some money for a cab and a small smoothie. I change into this
