Miara's POV
Nothing, I get nothing from my father. He won't tell me anything about that night. It's driving me insane just thinking about it. He always just pushes me away! He's starting to get on my nerves but today is the fifth or shall I say the day I meet my secret admirer! I'm super excited but as I walk to the bus stop three girls start to walk up to me.
"Okay, so you clearly don't get it to do you?" The lead b'tch said, trying to act threatening.
"W-what do you mean?" I stuttered.
"Don't act all dumb," She said, rolling her eyes.
"Stay the F away from him!"
"W-who? I still don't understand!" I ask, still not understanding.
"Reuben Reid, stay away got it?"
"B-but you h-have a boyfriend?"
"So?" She asked, checking her false nails.
"W-wait you're gonna cheat?"
"You really are idiotic" Rebekah I thought it was said it.
"So back off or I'll make your life a living hell capiche?" Luna finished not waiting for me to finish.
"I uh."
She then went and shoved me into the wall beside us and then sashayed away with her minions.
I rolled up my sleeve to see all my wounds had started to bleed and drip dark red blood because of the hard brick wall. Great! Good thing my jacket is red so you can't see the blood. I carry on walking past all the dull houses in my neighbourhood until I get to the bus stop. Again Lola and Lilith aren't there. What's up with them! I see Reuben wave at me but I try to walk away. I can't deal with Luna making my life even worse than it is. I turn away and worm into the crowd but turn away to see Luna flirting with him. He looks very awkward and tries to edge away but she just grabs his arm and starts leaning in. As soon as he notices he gets out of her grasp and walks over to me. I panic, what if Luna sees me? What if she makes everything worse!
"Hey! Miara where you going?" He asks giving me a confused smile.
He grabs my hand to stop me from running away from him.
"What's going on M?"
"I can't be seen with you" I whisper, watching Luna walk towards us.
"What the hell are you talking about!"
"She'll make my life a living hell!" I whisper yell.
"Who? Luna?" He asks. Man that boy is clueless.
That's when Luna grabs Reubens and makes him face her.
"Reuben what are you doing talking to her," What did that bi-female dog say?
"She's a close friend of mine" He says. Wow way to friendzone me.
"Can you come over here for a moment Reuben?" She asks, twirling a strand of her hair.
"Uh yeah sure."
"Great."
She then pretty much dragged him away.
Reuben's POV
Luna is really annoying me today. Plus she's bullying Miara! I only agree to talk to her to get her away from Miara. As soon as she drags me out of the crowds of people she starts to trash talk Miara.
"Last night Nella saw Miara walking to this lake place earlier this morning. Nella also said she saw her dad fight someone weird right!" She gossiped.
"Yeah she looked dead and-" Nella, her friend continued only to be cut off by Luna "Enough Nella!"
Wait? What? She didn't text me or anything.
"I-I got to go" I say trying to get away from her.
