Days have passed, Mika stayed at her parent's house. She hated staying there— her father was so strict that it almost choke her. She remembered how her father controlled her life in that house, but for now, this is the only place she finds comfort, atleast.

But she was a mess.

She was surrounded with emptiness.

She was a hollow shell filled with sadness.

She find companion she could lean to when things got rough.

Alcohol.

The friend she only have.

Her phone buzzed.

It was Cyd.

Mika scoffed and chugged the glass down until the last drop before asking for more. "Who cares? Haha!" She laughed her ass off. Pain was eating her, she couldn't handle it anymore. She couldn't cope, unless she had taken alcohol— lots, to be exact. "Fuck off, Cyd."

"Mika Aereen." Napapikit siya sa narinig, she misses her bigtime.

She sighed before gulping hard. "Please, don't call me by that name." She begged. It brings memories and the truth that she no longer have Rachel, that the person who calls her by that name sweetly is no longer in her arms.

"Naglalasing ka nanaman. Nasaan ka?"

"Pwede ba?"

She cut the call short.

Placing one of her hand on her hair, while the other was wrapped around the cold glass of whiskey, she pulled her hair in frustration before kissing the whiskey goodbye.

She asked for more drinks until she can't drink anymore.

"Ugh, fuck."

"Hmm?" She groaned, ayaw paistorbo.

"Ma'am magsasara na po kami."

Napatingin naman si Mika sa wristwatch niya. It's flashing 2:17 am. "Alas dos palang. Maaga pa. Tss." She hissed at bumalik sa pwesto niya.

"She doesn't care. She doesn't want me back."

Mika started sobbing that made the owner of the bar, who just walked in, shook his head.

Same line, same scenario. The owner became an acquaintance, a drinking buddy. They had drinking sessions whenever his around. He knows well what Mika is going through right now but he doesn't want to step in and made an impulsive move for his friend.
