I wake up to Gally shaking me. "Hey, hey! You need to get to Homestead, I can hear Newt yelling for you from here!" I jump up, grabbing my walkman. I climb down and run out of the deadheads. I run right into Newt. Literally. I smack into him, causing him to fall on his butt. I frown at him and walk off. "Wait! Billie! I'm sorry, I didn't wanna banish Ben either, but if we broke the rules, this whole place would be thrown off balance. Billie! Please listen to me!" I continue to ignore him, giving him the finger.
POV ????
I watch subject a11 flip subject a8 off. I smile, seeing them fight is a pleasure. Though, they are taking to long to find the exit. We are going to open them to group B. I finger the red button next to my computer. And I smash it down.
POV Billie
I storm off, sliding down the maze wall. Suddenly, I hear an earsplitting cracking and groaning, and a huge thunk, as if a huge thing just rose and stopped. Then, the wall I'm sitting on drops suddenly, making me fall on my back. I look up, being greeted by two dozen girls pointing spears at me. "Ah, Shuck!" I yell, scrambling away from the girls. I hear the Gladers shouting, and running to the newly opened area. "What is this?" I hear a girl ask me. "Uh, this is the Glade," I say. "This is the Heart," the girl says, gesturing to her Glade. "Are you the leader?" I laugh, and say, "No, Alby is." I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look up, and say, "That's Alby," pointing to him, with his hand on my shoulder. "Hullo. Welcome to the Glade, girls."
