4 - back on the job

Deku's POV

Its been a while since I've seen Todoroki and Ochako, by a while I mean I literally a week I don't know why but I miss him so much. I don't even know him that well but his scent his looks personality everything it drew me towards him and now I cant wait to see him again. 

Anyway aside from my longing desire to see a man I barely knew, today I'm going back to work. I know you're probably thinking how someone like me could have a job I am an omega after all but we do have the right to earn money. I work in a small cake shop in town near my area. After Todoroki left I had to call in and explain my situation and that I wouldn't be able to come into work for the next week most places would've asked for photo evidence or for me to come in and show them if I was really as injured as I said I was but luckily I had a lenient boss as he also happened to be one of my closest friends. Iida and I had known each other since college and was a beta, even after that horrible incident happened I practically had nobody left but Iida found me alone and didn't judge me on the first day of college and since that day he refused to leave my side. To that I am grateful I don't even think I would've been able to stay alive without him since I became really depressed but he pulled me back up onto my feet.

As I slipped on my shoes I reached into my pocket and felt some papery dust I pulled some of it out to realise that it was a piece of paper that had Todoroki's number on it, oh shit I'm officially a dumbass, I put my trousers in the wash and forgot to take it out. I was waiting for something to happen when in actuality i could've called the ice cream haired lad, welp I'm probably not gonna see that beautiful alpha again. I mentally face palmed before opening the door to my shitty apartment and starting my commute to work. I put in my earphones and started listening to small things by Ben Howard it was a song that always calmed me down, even though i didn't really need a calming it was still a bomb ass song.

After a 10 minute walk it was now 8:50 am which was the earliest i have ever arrived for my 9 am shift. yes i know 10 minutes early isn't much of an accomplishment but considering i was always late 10 minutes was good. I stepped in an and heard clocked in and that's when i heard it.

"GUYS I THINK CURLY IS BACK!" shouted Denki. It was nice to hear his voice after a while that's when he came in to the back room "It really is you curly," he came up to me and ruffled up me already messy hair and in the process gave me a little electric shock.

"jeez what is with you your always giving people random electric shocks i swear you have some sort of weird pikachu like power," I said chuckling as I brushed him off i went into the changing room after that and began changing my clothes when I noticed Shinsou just finishing up. 

"Hey curly you alright now, you got a lot of scars on you your a strong lad i'll give you that," he said sounding almost proud of me.

"Well I'm not dead yet so I guess your statement is somewhat true," I replied to his enthusiasm with my dull yet witty pessimistic comments as always.

"your wit will be the death of us all, oh and the boss wants to see ya don't know what he wants though." He said while waving himself out of the room.

I scratched my head and walked out of the changing room after having finished wondering what the boss man wants to see me for.

As soon as I opened the door Iida tackled me to the ground in a bear hug.

"so much for being professional boss man, shops opening in a sec idiot," I said hoping that would make him release me from his excruciating grip.

"Ah sorry I'm just glad to see your back you haven't had a week off like that before so thought whatever happened must've been serious," he sounded worried. i was happy its nice to hear him talk because the way he speaks to me never changes, it always has the same care and gentleness.

"I'm alright now ya goof, its nice to see you too," I patted his back and smiled then he got up and changed the sign from closed to open.

Todoroki's POV

I still hadn't gotten a call from Deku. what if something has happened to him again i wouldn't be able to live with myself.

"Heyyyy~~ pay  attention to me can we please go to get some cake!"

"Jesus of all the things you could crave Ochako," i said to my cousin who was currently tugging on my shirt sleeve. If i knew anything it was that she wouldn't give up i can only imagine how annoyed Deku must've gotten by her constant pestering.

"SHOUTO! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!" my stupid dad shouted, I didn't want to deal with any shit he was going to throw at me. I grabbed Ochako's hand and promptly left the house making sure I was quiet but fast.

We got in the car and drove in silence for a while.

"hey..don't worry Todo-bro hes just a fat dumb head," I smirked at her primary school insults yet they couldn't be any more correct.

"That's right fat dumb head indeed, anywhere where do you wanna get cake from?" I questioned while keeping my eyes firmly glued to the road.

"Oh oh! before I saw that green boy last week I saw a shop with really pretty cakes in the window I think it was called...Tena's I'm not really sure." she got her phone out and searched up Tena's cake shop.

"Wait wait its called Tenya's Bakery," She said hoping i'd heard of it which i actually had. I went there two days they made really nice tea as well as cakes.

"Oh yeah I have heard of that place,"

A/N I AM SORRY I feel like its been too long but I've had so much work also I'm wondering if I should have them meet again in the next chapter or if I should do a bit on Todoroki's backstory, lemme know what you think also I'm crying because I cant see BTS the one time they're in my bloody county T-T.
