Sigyn is walking the corridor with three of her handmaidens around her, buried in deep conversation with Helga who walked by the Princess's side. She was explaining customs for young girls in Asgard to Princess Asgard, teaching her their ways. Sigyn's blue dress dragged behind her in frills, the front of her dress crisscrossed over her chest and the sleeves dived from the back of her shoulders to the floor.
They turn into Thor's quarters, gliding across the polished golden floor.
Thor's chamber doors open and both he and Loki emerge. They stop, surprised to see the princess and she was surprised to see them. Thor cleared his throat loudly, and said, "Princess, what brings you here!?" he greeted.
Sigyn's eyes pull away from Loki. His eyes are casted to the ground and he stood behind his brother as if to hide. "I was coming to see where you where." she said to him. "Baldur and the others want to discuss the feast for our wedding." she explains, looking around Thor to Loki. She see's the blush pink scars around his mouth. "The healer has out done herself."
Thor was smiling widely at Sigyn, and there is a glint in his eye. "His wounds have healed nicely, haven't they?" Thor stepped aside, revealing his brother.
Loki looked up and pushed for a smile. "I have... duties." he said.
"I was just told Queen Frigga is looking for you." informed Sigyn. "No one could find you in your chambers this morning." she walked forward slowly.
It became silent with the brothers looking at each other. Thor with a massive smile on his face. Sigyn curtsies her head to the side, looking between them. "Did something happen?" she curiously asked.
"No, no, no." Thor beamed. "All is well, I assure you."
More silence.
"Well, if that would be all, then?"
"Loki has something to say." Thor suddenly said. Loki looked at his brother narrowing his eyes at him, sending him a look of warning. Then Sigyn was looking at him expectantly. She held her hands at her front, looking at him.
Loki cleared his throat. "If you aren't too busy, I would like to show you the library today."
A smile stretched across Sigyn's plump lips. "I would love that, since you did promise me yesterday. I think we all deserve a treat after working so hard for this wedding."
"I must take my leave." says Thor. "I have... hunting plans to, uh, plan. With Baldur, and Fandral, and Volstagg, and Hogun."
"Hogun?" Sigyn said, shocked. "Hogun is one my father's warriors."
"He recently has become close with Fandral and Volstagg." explained Thor.
Sigyn nodded. "Very well. I will see you after, Thor."
"You will, princess." he bid her farewell, and left her with his brother. As soon as Thor left, Sigyn felt the tension between she and Loki. The happiness in his face was gone and replaced with worry. He didn't smile or beam at her as he does. And this morning, she found no flower. She felt a little disappointed, but knew it was coming.
"Well?" she beamed. She decided if Loki was going to feel beat down, or embarrassed because of what happened, she would be the one to bring him back up. She saw no reason to leave him like this. Despite what her father says to her.
(Despite what Sigvard said to Loki.)
"Forgive me, my head is in another place." he pushed for a smile, striding towards her. "It's been a stressful few days." he lends his arm out to her. Sigyn smiled to him in a way that made his heart flutter. He just cannot bare to stay away from her. He needs to breath her in to stay alive.
