The ride was long and tiring, but it was a good road trip. It was nice for Kylie to finally be out of Texas and see some more of the world. We stopped at a hotel to rest before we got into Florida. Kylie's birthday is tomorrow and I don't want her to be traveling all day.
Zach came with us and he is just great with Kylie. On the outside he acts all tough, but he already has Kylie calling him "Uncle Zach"
We all went to the pool for a swim. Zach carried Kylie to the pool while Robert and I walked behind them.
"They are doing so well together." I told Robert.
"Yeah. It's kinda weird seeing him this gushy. But at the same time it's cool."
I put her little life vest on her and blew up some arm floaties for Kylie so she could swim with us. Being the brave little girl she is she jumped I without hesitation.
"Look mommy! I'm swimming!" she yelled.
"That's very good kylie!" I said as we all got in after her.
"Let's play Marco, Polo!" Zach said.
"Yes! I go first!" Kylie yelled. She closer her eyes.
"Mawco!" she said.
"Polo!" we all yelled.
- 3 hours later -
Kylie went to sleep with Zach. It was cute because they were watching the movie Cars and she fell asleep with her head on his stomach. And he fell asleep with his hand on her back.
Robert and I fell asleep on our bed. Today was a great day of traveling and swimming. It's great to be able to get closer with my new family.
