Chapter seventeen: The Night Hunters

(Dario's P.O.V)

Underworld 4102

That stupid dog believes everything I say, listens to my every command; but at some point I realized his true intentions of being my guard dog.

He wants to over throw me and rule the Underworld.

But I'm not letting that happen, when I sent him through the portal, I banished him from the Underworld forever. He isn't coming back.

Lets see how he survives the human world, I've seen a couple more hunters kill my men. I wonder if Caine will be caught.

(Alecae's P.O.V)

Forest 2014

As I ran through the woods in my wolf, patrolling the borders; suddenly I could smell a foul scent by the river. Flame ran alongside me, she could smell it too; when we got to the river, a human lay by the big tree. It wasn't exactly a normal human: he has really long hair, same colour as mine, his forehead had a moon on it, and two stripes of red on both his cheeks. Fur all along his left side, it went past his legs, armour on his right side and two swords on his right hip.

Flame transformed into her human form, she went to his side.

Blood seeped through his odd white clothing, lots of blood dripping onto the ground.

Its a mix of red and black blood.

Flame threw a pair of shorts at me, I went to a nearby bush and pulled them on.

Guys we found a stranger, he has funny tattoos on his face. I mind link Asher and Ryder.

We're coming. Asher and Ryder say together.

Okay. I walk to Flame and pull her away, because you never know right? He could be really sick.

Asher, Ryder and Ignacia ran to us, they all are in their human form.

"Caine?" Ignacia whispers.

"Yea," Flame answers.

"Who is he?" Asher inquires.

"He is the guard dog, but I didn't know he could turn into a human." Ignacia answers him, "but he still has that same purple moon right?" She asks turning to look at Flame.

"Yea."

"Do you know who did this?" Ryder also asks.

Flame touched the bleeding guy's hand and closed her eyes, concentrating. "There was metal used to attack him, he was surrounded; the attack was done by...humans." She opens her eyes.

Ignacia walks to the opposite side we were, and crouched down. Ryder followed her like a lost puppy.

What a funny sight.

"Human blood." Ignacia gasps pointing at the ground. "We should take him back! He's hurt! There is blood all over here, is he still breathing?"

"Yea, but it was Caine who kept us trapped in that demon world! Why should we care?" Flame tried to knock some sense to the little girl.

"No, but he's hurt! Look at him!" Ignacia's eyes start to tear up and Ryder holds her tightly, trying to prevent her from crying.

I could see that Flame had a soft spot for Ignacia, she finally agreed to take him in.

As we all walked back to the pack house I walked to Flame and took her to the back, "you know who did this, don't you?"

She smirked at me, "yea, the humans who come out only at night to hunt. Night Hunters."

(Magic's P.O.V)

Buckingham Palace 2014

We arrived at the palace once more, we landed in other side of it too.

"Where are we?" I ask Suzaku.

"We are by one of the many kitchens, but since we failed to finish one of our very few missions. We have been banned from the palace." Lelouch replies for Suzaku.

"How do you know?" Euphemia asks.

"Because those are the rules, the first thing we were taught." Suzaku speaks up.

A man with black hair and red eyes walks down the steps, clapping his hands slowly, "well done boys, My Lady is pleased that you brought her back." He points at me, "alive and well."

"This was a trap?" I look back at the two boys.

They both look down with, guilt was evident on Suzaku's face, but Lelouch was good at hiding his true emotions.

"We meet again, Princess." A devious smile spreads on his hideous face.

"A pleasure of seeing you again, butler." I respond with disgust.

"Tsk-tsk, you know my name very well; now say it Princess. I need to hear it."

"Sebastian Michaelis." Anger and disgust in my tone.

He smiles and takes out a knife.
