I looked around the small room I was in, trying to figure out where I was. I was starving, my vision was blurry and I was covered in blood.
I looked down to see my feet and hands were chained to the pipes behind me, blood trickled down my arms and fell into the large bucket below.
"Ellie?" I heard a voice from beside me and I looked to see Elena in the same position as me.
"You okay?" I asked, barely above a whisper as I looked over at her and she nodded.
Before our conversation could continue a man walked in who I had come to recognise as Markos. He made his way over to Elena and held a glass of blood to her mouth, letting her take a sip.
"You have enough." Elena mumbled, spitting the blood onto his face.
"Let us go!" I demanded struggling against my restraints.
"I'll have enough once you two can no longer speak." He told us, walking over to me and slicing down my arm causing me to cry out in pain.
After a few minutes of silence another figure walked through the door and as he got closer a smile spread across my face. "Stefan?"

"Seriously? Collect calls are still a thing?" Damon asked from the other side of the phone.
"Yeah. Well, you know what could have saved you the cost of this phone call? You finding us." I fired back at my older brother. "How long have we been gone?"
"Four days." Damon answered and I glared even though he couldn't see me.
"Four days!" I yelled into the phone. "Four days, and you couldn't track us down? What the hell did you think, we were having a nice spa getaway?"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. I have been searching 24/7 okay?" Damon quickly defended himself. "Maybe if you had been a little more perceptive, you wouldn't have gotten yourselves doppelnapped!"
"Look-" I was quickly cut off as Elena accidently threw a stone through the window of the building I was standing next to, nearly taking my head with it.
I turned around and quickly sent her a glare as she mouthed "Sorry."
"What the hell was that?" Damon asked worriedly.
"The travellers drained us of our blood so we've had to do a little bit of... Hunting." I told him, as I let a laugh out at Elena throwing another stone and taking a tantrum like a five year old.
"You and Stefan have Elena participating in squirrel slaughter?" Damon chuckled at the thought.
"Trust me, she's not exactly happy about it." Stefan called from beside me as he listened to the phone call.
"So where are you?" Damon asked, sighing. "I'll come get you."
"We have no idea." Stefan told him, taking the phone from me. "Listen, we'll make our way back to Mystic Falls but Markos drained us of most of our blood and considering the kind of spells he was able to do with just a little bit of it-"
"Yeah, I know." Damon cut him off. "Find Markos, kill Markos, save Mystic Falls from becoming a traveller home. It's gonna be a big day for me Stefan, time to strap on the hero hair."
"I'll get them home safely." Stefan told Damon before ending the call.

"How are you holding up?" Elena asked from beside me after what seemed like hours of walking in silence.
"I'm... I- um, I don't really know." I told her honestly.
She nodded, giving me a frown. "I really am sorry about Enzo, we should have told you-"
