"Mom!" I called out to my mother as she continued searching for her friends, who were nowhere to be seen. "Look, they aren't here! Let's just go."
"N-no... They'll be here, somewhere." She shook her head, refusing to believe that they were not here.
"What the hell are we going to do?" I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose in frustration and walking towards the car where Enzo was.
"Snap her neck, throw her in the car, drive home. Problem solved." Enzo smirked as he leaned against the car.
I rolled my eyes. "Enzo, Im serious. I'm worried she's going to lose it if she doesn't find them."
"I'll go get Stefan and he can come help you out, okay?" He suggested, as he carefully tucked a piece of hair behind my ear.
"Yes, thank you." I smiled, agreeing with his plan.

A while after Enzo had left I turned around to see the bright lights of a car pulling up beside me.
"Hey, are you okay?" I asked Stefan as he got out from the car... Covered in blood.
"It's a long story." He sighed, a sad look plastered on his face. "Let's deal with her and then we'll talk."
"Okay." I nervously nodded.
"Get in the car please." Stefan then ordered as he approached our Mother.
"1702 route 12. That's where we are, right?" Lily questioned. "He said they'd be here. They're probably scared out of their minds."
"Who are you talking about?" Stefan asked, shaking his head in confusion.
"Her friends." I told him.
"My family." My mother was quick to correct me. "Kai brought them back when he escaped the prison world."
"Kai is out?" I asked. "Oh my God, of course he is. Why didn't you tell me?"
Lily simply ignored me, as she continued looking for her friends.
"He lied to you!" Stefan laughed at our Mothers stupidity. "There's nobody out here. You made a deal with a sociopath and now a lot of people are dead!"
My eyes widened at my brothers words. "What? Who's dead?" I asked.
"Jo, All the Gemini's, Elena's in the hospital. Kai came to the wedding and killed them all." Stefan told me.
"I-is she okay?" I asked Stefan, concerned for my friend.
"I don't know." He sighed, sadly.
"This is your fault." I glared towards my Mother. "You can deal with crazy, I-I can't even look at her."

Kai had put a spell on Elena and Bonnie. For as long as Bonnie is alive, Elena would remain in a comma.
We had all gathered around in my house ready to say our goodbyes to Elena, through the power of being able to enter her subconscious.
"Okay you guys go first." Damon said towards Caroline, Bonnie and I.
We nodded walking over to Elena, where she lay peacefully in her coffin.
"It's easy Bon." Caroline told Bonnie. "You just take her hand, and let her in."
All three of us took Elena's hand, entering her mind.
"Are we seriously having a sleepover?" I rolled my eyes, entering a room where Bonnie, Elena and Caroline sat on a bed.
The three girls that I had come to know and love laughed at me as I joined them on the bed.
"I'm sorry this happened to you." I told Elena, grabbing her hand. "And Thank you, for letting me into your lives, accepting me as your friend... As your family."
Elena nodded. "Of course. Take care of your brothers for me, please?" She asked, a tear streaming down her face. "Make sure Damon lives a full life, make sure he doesn't do anything reckless. And I know you think that Enzo brings out the worst parts in you but... Maybe you bring out the best parts in him. You can make him a good person, don't waste any time... You don't know when it will be your last day."
I nodded, quickly wiping away my tears.
"Caroline." Elena looked towards the blonde vampire. "You don't need to take care of everyone, okay? Just take care of yourself. Live a good life, find out what you want and fight for it. I'll see you soon, okay?"
"Okay." Caroline cried as she hugged her best friend. "I love you."
"Promise me something?" Elena asked us. "Write it all down. Everything you accomplish in your lives... Every crush, when you fall in love, when you start a family, every time you fantasise about wanting to kill Damon..." We all laughed at Elena's words, through our tears. "Write it down. So that one day I can read all about my best friends lives and feel like I was really there."
We all nodded, agreeing to do as Elena asked.
"Well, this is my queue to go. I'll let you guys say goodbye." I said, giving Elena one last hug before leaving.

"Enzo... Hi." I sighed as he walked into the parlour of my house.
What Elena had said earlier really struck me.
I didn't know what tomorrow would bring so I should live every single day like it's my last.
"Hello, love." He smiled, pouring himself a drink.
"I need to say some things... So please just listen." I said and he simply nodded. "Someone told me earlier that, even if someone brings out the bad parts in you... Maybe you bring out the good parts in them, they told me that we don't know when it might be our last day so we should live each day to the fullest. All I want is to be happy, to travel the world, to be with the person that I love."
"What are you saying?" Enzo questioned, walking closer to me.
"I'm saying that... You taught me how to have hope, how to love, how to be in control and how to enjoy being who I am. You don't bring out the worst parts of me... You show me how to embrace them. I'm saying that I want to start living the life that I want. I'm saying that I don't want to waste anymore time... I'm saying that I love you, Enzo." I told him, tears streaming down my cheeks.
He looked at me for a few seconds, silence taking over. I began to regret my words, wondering if maybe he didn't feel the same way about me anymore. I had hurt him, it wouldn't surprise me if his feelings had changed.
"Are you sure this is what you want?" Enzo questioned, taking a few steps closer and placing his hands on either side of my face.
"Yes." I nodded.
Only inches from his face, I looked towards his lips before meeting his eyes again. I quickly lent forward, without any hesitation, pressing my lips to his.
He kissed back, immediately pouring every ounce of emotion into it.
I pulled away, looking into his eyes. "Promise me this is forever?"
"I promise." He told me, before placing his lips back on mine.
I was going to start truly living now, with the person who I loved. No matter what, I wanted him by my side.
