Damon, Bonnie and I were walking through the woods, trying to find the right spot for Bonnie to do the spell.

Damon was walking around, whistling while swinging a small stick around, like a child.

"You're in a good mood for the first time in this decade." Bonnie commented as she walked ahead of us.

"I have a hot date with my girl tonight." Damon grinned as he hit me in the side with his stick, causing me to glare.

"Yeah..." Bonnie sighed. "Assuming Kai's telling the truth."

"I'm thinking dinner and a movie!" Damon smiled, ignoring Bonnie. "You know what? Screw dinner and the movie, skip straight to the good part."

"Gross." I commented, causing Damon to smirk.

"Yeah, and assuming I can do the spell, which I won't know until I see it." Bonnie continued to put a downer on my mood.

"Whatever happened to hope Bon?" I questioned as she shrugged.

"Look guys, I want to get out of here I really do... But who's to say Kai won't screw us over?" Bonnie sighed and I could see the worry all over her face.

"Me, I say." I told her with a smile. "Because I will kill Kai and anyone who gets in the way of us going home."

"I heard my name. All good, I hope." Kai spoke up, stepping into sight. "Okay the eclipse will happen directly overhead. In perfect alignment with the Gemini constellation. You need to dig into the tunnels below us, we'll do the spell there."

"Why?" Bonnie quickly asked.

"Have you never portal-jumped through an eclipse before?" Kai asked, sarcasm laced in his voice. "Okay, look, the light of the eclipse will shine down and activate the ascendant. You spout a little witchy woo and then, poof... Anyone standing in the circle of light, holding the ascendant goes home."

"By witchy woo, I assume you mean the spell? Let me see it." Bonnie demanded, still not believing Kai.

"When the time comes." Kai smiled, before walking away.

"Where the hell are you going?" I called after him.

"Into town, I need to gather some important supplies." He grinned.

After hours of digging we finally reached the tunnels, just as Kai returned.

I sped over to him, grabbed his backpack and checked what was inside it. "Zima, grunge... Every Alex Rodriguez rookie card known to man and a pager... Really?"

"Five-five-five-hi-kai. No way I'm giving those digits up!" Kai laughed, snatching his belongings back.

"These were the important supplies?" I questioned, narrowing my eyes.

"Look the future sounds great. Alright? I'm super excited about the internet. But 1994 has been my home for most of my life... I'd hate to get homesick." Kai told us and I nodded. "So let's get down there-

"No." Bonnie quickly cut him off. "We are not going anywhere until you show me the spell."

"Okay." Kai smiled as he stood there, completely unbothered.

"Are we literally not going anywhere?" Damon questioned from beside me.

"Fine." Bonnie laughed. "You don't wanna show me the spell, then you can do it yourself. You want my magic? Take it."

"Uh-oh. She's being brave." Kai laughed and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"I'm serious!" Bonnie stood her ground. "This was your big threat. If I don't do the spell and let us out of here, you'll just take my magic, leave me for dead, and do the spell yourself. So go ahead... Take all of it."
