"I'm picking up a signal here.", Coran said looking at the hologram. "Galra!", Hunk growled. "No. It's not galra...", Coran said thoughtfully and looked at the picture in front of him in surprise. "It's a signal I haven't seen for a very long time. It's an old Altean distress code. One used by king Alfor's ships."

"Could it be?", Allura asked "Are we not the last Alteans alive?"

"Wait!", Pidge interrupted "What if someone is cloning our signal to try and lure us in?"

"The signal is from an Altean ship.", Allura reassured "And we're going to find it. Call back Keith and Lance, we're going after that signal!"

First of all, all credits for the characters and the universe go to Netflix and the creators of the original Voltron anime. This story was placed between season 3 episode 3 and episode 4 of Neflix's Voltron: Legendary defender.

I don't really like to use the word end here, since this fanfiction is placed inbetween two episodes...
