"Why is miss helen so boring" Ace all but cried as the bell rang to notify the end of class. I gave him a small smile, shaking my head as I replied him "she just teaches what she is suppose too, but yes sometimes her way is boring" "sometimes?" He groaned "more like all the time" he put his head down on the table as he continued "I think I need to give my brain a break or it will explode and this stupid novel that we have to finish reading in a week, who the hell reads a novel in a week?" He threw his hands up in the air to exaggerate his words "I can just say one thing" he continued "this is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force" He muttered looking at the novel in disgust "why? Because this is the first time you actually paid attention in class? You poor brain cant handle it?" Mike asked Ace as he threw a crumpled peice of paper at his back "You know the mids are near, if I dont even focus now I will fail all classes" He groaned. I chuckled quietly at their bickering, I was glad that everything was just as normal, I didnt want Aiden to tell them anything, atleast not yet. I need to ask Aiden to keep quiet till I'm ready to tell them myself, whenever and wherever that might be. "Hey" Ace yelled suddenly, grabbing our Mike and mine's attention. "I think we all deserve a break, what say? Shall we go on a little vacation after mids?" Ace suggested. "That sounds like a great idea Ace, for once you said something intelligent." "Nope, cant go" I shook my head in denial "I need to find a job" I told them both and they just looked at me in confusion "since, when do you have financial issues?" Mike asked in his curious voice. "I-I need money for myself and yes, my dad is having some financial issues at the moment, so I just want to help him" I said trying to sound totally normal. I was somewhat sad that the mood had been ruined they both looked at me in seriousness before Ace spoke "Aiden, buddy, look what Ella is saying" that caught the attention of Aiden as he walked in an just rose his eyebrow in question giving a signal for Ace to continue "Mike and I were deciding to go on a little vacation after mids, but Ella doesnt want to go, she wants to find a job as she mysteriously needs money for herself and her dad"  Aiden looked at me for a second clenched and unclenched his fist before speaking loud enough for me to hear "she'll go" and walking over to his seat sitting down, I just glared holes at his back before hissing at him "why would you say that? Does my say not matter to you guys? I cannot and I wont I really need the money and besides my dad will never allow me to go on a vacation with 3 guys" I finished giving them each a pointed look as I crossed my arms over my chest in anger. Aiden didnt say anything just kept looking infront. A minute after a group of students walked into class followed by the teacher as he put his things infront of him on the desk, muttered a sorry for coming in late and started teaching his lesson.

As lunched rolled in I went towards the cafeteria. I knew I had no money to buy lunch so I decided to go with my plan of skipping half of the school. I walked straight towards Mike and spoke "I'm going to skip half of the school, I need to go job hunting" I said and he just looked around, just as he about to open his mouth and all to familiar voice spoke from behind. "Sit" he said pushing a chair behind me and putting a tray infront of me "Eat" he said and looked down at me with a stern expression "I'm not hungry" I mumbled as I wiped my sweaty palms on my faded jeans, "I dont care" He said and rose his eyebrow "I-I" I strutted but he just sat next to me and pulled me down by my arm on the chair. I glanced at the tray infront of me which had a sandwich an apple and a bottle of water on it and was about to speak when Aiden interrupted "Eat bella then you can go" he said and I sighed in defeat as I grabbed the sandwich of the tray and started munching on it.
I finished nearly all my lunch and stood up wiping my hands with a tissue "can I go now sir?" I asked Aiden sarcastically. "Ok, but I need to talk to you" was all he said before heading outside "is there something going on between you too?" Ace snapped me out of my thoughts "me and him? Him and me? NO never" "I dont know he seems awfully nice to you today" both Ace and Mike looked at me in confusion. "He is just nice to me because we have a project to complete and I told him the more you cooperate the sooner we will get done and go our own paths" lame excuse I could tell they both didnt buy it for one second but nodded their heads anyway. 'Thanks for leaving me alone Aiden' I huffed in my thoughts "right! Project" they both exchanged a look and smirked at each other "I have to go, bye" I said as fast as I can and ran out of the cafeteria.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I marched towards Aiden as soon as I got out of the cafeteria. "Excuse me?" Is what I got in return. "Why are you being nice to me? You're friends are getting suspicious. They think something is going on between us" I motioned with my hand between us while talking in a hurry. "Is there?" Aiden asked me as me took a step towards me immediately making me take a step back. "Wha-a-at-t" I strutted. "Do you think there is something going on between us?" Sandwiching me between him and the wall. I tried to move towards the right and he put his hand near my head, stopping me and did the same to the left side. "Answer my question" he mumbled as his face moved closer to my ear making my breathing hitched. "No-o" I strutted out an answer. "Are you sure?" He responded with a kiss along my ear. "Come to my house?" He asked again and I closed my eyes and being in my own daze replied him with an ok. And he immediately moved back. "Great see you then at 5" he spoke putting his hands in his pockets. "What no!" I exclaimed coming back to reality. "We need to do our project. Do you want a good grade or not?" He spoke as if speaking to a child. "Fine!" I huffed glaring at him. "Bye" I told him and started to move "Bella?" He called as I was walking "yes" I replied turning to face him. "You didn't flinch" he said in a happy tone. "What?" I asked again "when I touched you, you didnt flinch" he said again as he started walking backwards then turned around and left leaving me stunned. I actually didnt flinch. That brought a smile on my face as I held my bags strap tighter against my shoulder and moved down towards the gate of the school.
