The hardest part about being strong is that nobody might care to ask of you are hurt...

It's almost been half an hour since I last saw Aiden. I've tried banging the doors to let someone know that we're inside, but it was of no avail, I even tried searching for something with a light so that I could stop freaking out every 5minutes thinking there's someone behind me, but the result was again disappointing, so here I was sitting near the door with my back pressed to the wall and my face squeezed between my knees and chest, while tears trickled down my eyes, I was in an immense amount of pain, It felt as if my body was on fire and I didnt even have any pain killers with me.

After sitting in the same position for about another half an hour, with my face drenched in tears and my eyes puffy and red, I heard some footsteps coming towards me. Immediately thinking of the worse, I pressed myself harder in the wall and whimpered a little because of the pain, but tried staying quiet. After a few seconds I heard someone calling me, that someone being Aiden. "hey? are you still here? I kinda forgot your name, so yeah! if you're here, brunette girl, can you like make some noise?" he rambled on, I tried to say something but the only sound that came out of my mouth was of me whimpering. "okay, so you're he-wait! are you crying?" he asked totally puzzled. when I made no attempt to answer him he groaned out loud before speaking "listen here! I'm not your boyfriend or friend as a matter of fact we are not even acquaintances, still I'm standing here talking to a nerd like you, risking my reputation trying to help you, so why dont you do us both a favour, drop your fuckin attitude, and answer my question, because this the last time i'm going to be asking you. Why on the earth are you crying?" he said surly through clenched teeth. Not wanting to anger him further I only whispered a short response which I knew he heard clearly as there was a pin drop silence in the corridor. "I'm....m in a-alot of p-pain, a-and-d i'm a-afraid of-f the d-dark." I spulttered out to him. He stayed quiet for a while, for a moment
I thought he walked away but then I heard some shuffling like he was trying to find something and then with a 'click' he turned on the torch of his phone. "there! now where is your phone?" he said again with the same expressionless face. "I dont-t h-have one-e" I whispered again, while cleaning my nose with the back of my hand in the most un-ladylike way! "why the hell not?" he asked. "because my dad doesn't like wasting money on me, besides he thinks its spoils teenagers." okay the first part was true but he didnt think it spoiled teenagers, he just thought that if I have a phone I can call the police on him, I guess he forgot the part where I stay out till 7 at night trying to earn some money for him, as he is to lazy to do it himself, I could easily go to the police if I wanted, but I wont do that. No matter how he treats me, he is still my father, the same father who I used to look upto once, who was suppose to be my hero. Anyways its not like I have to talk to someone, so it doesnt really matter if I have a phone or not. "well he's true on one of the part" he muttered more to himself than me, I had this feeling that he was talking about the first part, but I was used to all the bullying so it didnt really bother me, I've had worse comments thrown my way. After a moment of silence he ran his fingers through his hair before turning towards me "Right! so why are you in pain?" "I fell down the stairs last night so my body really aches" I lied through my teeth. Exhaling angrily through his nose, he extended his hand to me while I just looked at his hand and then at his face repeating the process again. "c'mon we need to get you to the nurse's office, we'll hopefully find some pain killers in there." Ignoring his hand I tried getting up while holding the door handle to my right. "sorry, I don't like being touched" I mumbled softly only to be greeted by an impatient voice "yeah yeah! whatever, I dont really care. lets just go" he said harshly, without waiting for a response he turned around and walked back to where he came from. Sighing I followed him as fast as my body would allow me, taking help from the wall on the sides.
