It's been a little over twenty-four hours since I received the coded email from Peter. Backtracking the source was a waste of time and the accounts already been closed. I spent most of the previous night trying to track Peter's life through the last two years, since he moved away. It was looking into what he was working on that helped me the most.

After graduating, I knew that he'd accepted a position several states away. I've been gathering as much information about he's working on now, he specialized in software development. Currently, his company has his status as taking a sabbatical, and gone for close to six months now. Having all my leads being that old is making things harder, but not impossible.

My parents left briefly in the middle of the night to transport the witch to the apartment, Gin is unwilling to leave Alex for any amount of time. The best part of my evening was when I was scanning through the hospital camera feeds, trying to pinpoint their location, just to see them come stumbling out of a supply closet. Gin, you bad girl!

I teased her but didn't actually share that information with anyone else. It should be weird to discover what my sister was up to with the doctor, but Gin's my best friend. It's actually refreshing. We've both been extremely limited when it comes to relationships. Gin's barely had a chance to gain friends let alone been on a date before. I enjoy seeing her partake in the human side of her life for once.

This morning, my parents returned home with Evelyn. Alex's mother made it clear she didn't want anything to do with any of us, and now they have to think of the witch's safety. It was sad to see them go, but it helped with how crowded it's become. Dylan is moving back into the spare room tonight. I'm going to take the couch, if I need to get some sleep. I have absolutely refused for Bowden to leave, making him rest even though he's recovered.

After receiving Peter's email, the idiot had even offered to go into DemGen! I absolutely forbid him from doing so. I almost lost him and he wants to run into unknown danger right away. No way.

He also has to make do without getting his things. The thought of him going home, possibly into some sort of ambush if anyone else knows where he lives, had me screaming the building down this morning when he suggested it.

I gave him my laptop to use and told him to order whatever he needed. Him and the halfling spent the morning online shopping. Bowden decided to get Dylan some things of of his own as well, since the kid's been wearing the spare clothes we keep on hand for our drop ins. While they bickered good-naturedly about what they each thought looked good, I worked on the mystery of Peter's relation to DemGen.

Gin arrived home before lunch with Alex. The doctor is off work today and tonight, so Gin invited him here to keep closer watch over him. I had thought Gin would want to help me work but once she noticed what Bowden and Dylan were up to, she ditched me to join them. Gin wanted to look at clothes? She even ordered them to go to some websites just for women.

With the three crowded on the laptop, they had to move to the kitchen table, which prompted Bowden to start on lunch for everyone. Alex borrowed some more of my books and settled in on the couch. Aside from when I was dragged from my computer to eat lunch, it was a quiet afternoon.

I finally accessed Peter's old work files and he was working on some kind of security software, controlling large security systems. That's when I started to notice some familiar parts. I had pulled out the device that we found on one of the demons that attacked Gin took care of at the morgue and have been struggling over since then.
