This apartment is with five people again.

After Gin's run in with the splitter demon, Alex all but moved in here, even though the shallow wound is healing well. Despite Gin's strength, she has a somewhat normal healing process. That is, if anything can actually damage her in the first place. A little glass was a calculated risk for my sister, but the doctor has been acting like she threw herself off a cliff.

I wasn't surprised when Alex brought Gin out of the house and drove her home, she'd texted me the situation while he patched her up. I followed them back to the apartment in the van. The tall man did surprise all of us when he got out one of the spare mattresses and set up a pallet in Gin's room, stating that he's was going to stay here.

I'm sure Alex is probably frustrated with the whole situation, what with Gin being injured while fighting off a demonic blind date set up by his mother. I wasn't around for the discussion after the doctor's declaration, but I have a feeling that Gin doesn't mind. For the past three days, its been a reasonably easy transition, just not enough seats for everyone.

Alex made Gin stay bed-ridden for the entire next day after the incident, causing a lot of grumbles from the chosen one. My sister's never taken a sick day in her life, but she indulged Alex on this. Over time, the doctor will have to become accustomed to the harsh life Gin lives.

There was one outright fight between the couple, however. When Alex wanted to change the bandages, he found himself physically, and quite vocally, removed from the bedroom, the door slam echoing throughout the entire apartment. Apparently, despite the doctor removing the glass from Gin's sternum and setting the original bandage, Gin stated very firmly there was no way he was going there again. After that, the entire room of males were a little uncomfortable and, thankfully, Alex dropped the issue.

Once she could get out of bed again, Gin has been using Alex's time off to start training him, for his own safety. She's been going over energy detection and this afternoon we're going to help him start to learn self-defense. Alex is still working at the hospital and free clinic most days, and now has been eager to learn all of the new sighted skills. I don't know where he gets the stamina from, but I'm learning that he's very well matched for Gin.

Bowden and Dylan have almost been joined at the hip lately, both currently out grocery shopping. There is still no word from Dylan's parents and I know its weighing on everyone's mind. Dylan puts on a cheerful face, but I've seen it harden when the lack of news is mentioned.

Gin and I have already talked about it and we need to finish our business with DemGen, and then we'll travel to Dylan's home and start from there in our search. There are several important reasons we're going to have to deal with the corporation first, not just needing to extract Peter. The first is that we believe there are more hostages being held within the building.

Another reason is we've had an increase the past few days of missing supernaturals reported. I've been watching Alex at night, while Gin tries to patrol the areas. We don't know why, but we think DemGen has increased their attacks.

It's forced us to finalize our plan, that we'll put into action day after next. Gin stepped in and said that Bowden and myself would both come with to rescue Peter. We've already arranged with our parents for Mom to come up and help us, while we send Dylan to stay with Dad. Gin doesn't want anything mentioned to Alex, due to how protective he's been lately, and we're going to strike while he's working in the afternoon.

There's been some freelance projects that I've been putting off lately and have been playing catch up today, trying to keep an income coming in. I always work from the apartment and its quietest when the kid is gone, as much as I like having him here. Alex and Gin are getting some sleep and probably won't wake up for another hour or so. I've made a lot of progress so far this morning and when Bowden and Dylan arrive home, I'm ready for a break. Dylan carries several bags inside, while Bowden carries in the rest, his arms full of bags.
