You climbed out of the bathtub, wrapping a towel around your waist and trying to ignore the events that took place today. But it was hard; flashbacks of Axel's hand slipping into your pants and Luke throwing a beer bottle at your temple hurting you emotionally. Those teenagers were just...dangerous. There was no other word for it, considering they were physically abusing you now. You had to stay away from them. Yet...you were okay with that new rule - in fact, it was more of a safety precaution. It comforted you to have a defence against the rude adolescents. This way you could spend the rest of the trip relaxed, and out of danger.

You gave a small stretch before wandering back into the bedroom; stunned to see your sketchbook innocently lying on top of your bed. How did...How did it get there? It was open on a sketch you had never seen before - a stick figure girl being inside of a heart. Was that girl meant to be...you...? You picked up the sketchbook and sat crosslegged on top of the bed covers, staring at the drawing incredulously. Who would draw something like that...for you? Could it be the same person who stole your sketchbook? You didn't even know who took it. Perhaps it was that male in the mask...

You hugged the sketchbook warmly, holding it securely against your chest whilst you thanked the heavens for returning to your care. You were so grateful for whomever retrieved it. Maybe you should sketch something for the saviour of your sketchbook? Yeah, that would be a nice thing to do. So you began to draw - your pencil sliding across the paper whilst you sketched out the campfire and the cabins. Minutes ticked past as the drawing started to come together; a soothing silence washing over the room. It felt nice to be sketching again...the activity being calming and comforting in itself.

Yet the pleasant feeling faded when footsteps could be heard - the footsteps being heavy and human-made. The teenagers weren't sturdy enough to cause sound like this...but that guy you saw in the forest was. It was him, wasn't it? The tall, bloodstained mystery man. A gasp escaped your lips as you grew scared - wondering if he was going to force his way into your room. Would he hurt you? W-Was he thinking about doing the same thing Axel did? The footsteps stopped outside your door, something being slid underneath it whilst you waited with baited breath. W-What was it? Should you go see?

You climbed off the bed and anxiously approached the door; spotting a piece of bark on the wooden floor. It was shaped into a heart, with a single word carved in the centre. "YOU". Was this a confession? What did this mean? You were still touched by the gesture, picking up the heart and holding it to your chest affectionately. Nothing was said at first, you straightening up and touching the door with one hand - leaning your head against it too. This was such a nice thing to do, but why would this intimidating man do this for you? Nothing was making sense anymore. Still...

"Thank you." You whispered softly, deciding to thank the mysterious person whilst clutching the bark. They obviously thought a lot of you.

They didn't reply, the person on the other side of the door only moving away after a minute or two. Maybe they were shy, like you were. Their kind gift had cheered you up considerably; especially because this meant someone cared about you. Could they be a secret admirer? You let out a light giggle whilst you changed into a silk nightdress, leaving your hair to dry naturally. Things were slowly looking up - staying away from the teenagers and having a potential friend in the shadows...you felt a little better about everything. You moved into the kitchen and decided to eat; making a small sandwich with crisps and more candy bars. Eh, you weren't known for your healthiness.

After you ate, you began to read again - cuddled up on the sofa. A blanket was over your sleepy form, the comfy cushions being a good headrest whilst you read. You'd put the fire on too, flames of red and orange dancing in the background as logs crackled. Spending time by yourself was much better than being around others anyway. Mhm, this was true relaxing. The heart-shaped bark was on your lap, your eyes occasionally flickering over to look at the sweet object. Not many people gave you gifts - apart from Anna and Lynda - so your heart was incredibly warmed by the crafted present.
