Minutes ticked past, until the rabbit carcass had been completely cooked on the campfire; causing you to stand up and move in the direction of the cabin. "I just have to grab a few plates." You quickly remarked, seeing Jason's suspicious stare glare at you from across the fire. "Be right back." You stood up before giving a gentle wave, a soft smile stretching out across your face whilst you headed into the cabin.

Going inside, you entered the kitchen and grabbed some plates - also finding a couple of bread rolls to go with your food - before hurrying back out so that the male didn't grow impatient. "Here, put the rabbit on the plate. That way you don't have to continuously hold it." You passed Jason the biggest plate with a kind expression, wanting to keep being friendly towards him.

He gave a compliant nod and took the plate, sliding the cooked rabbit onto the flat dish before placing it on the ground between you both. You were about to ask if he needed any cutlery - to cut the rabbit meat - but Jason just used his hands to tear it into eatable pieces. Wow...that was...unexpected. Guess a child-minded serial killer didn't really think about social etiquette... or everyday manners. But it's not like you minded. Instead, you used your hands as well; dividing the meat between the two smaller plates and flashing him another supportive smile. It was just nice that he cared about you.

"Thanks for the food. By the way, how did you even get the rabbit? It's just...I noticed you left your weapon on the bedside table, so..." You awkwardly trailed off, not wanting to rile him up or cause Jason anymore annoyance.

"T...Tr...a..." The frustrated man stuttered - his hands balling into fists as he waited for you to pick up a plate. You took one of them, saying another grateful thank you afterwards. "T...ra..."

"Are you trying to say trap...? As in...traps...?" You helped him out and the killer nodded vigorously; semi-answering your question. "Oh! You set traps and catch animals that way — for food, right?" Your eager tone calmed Jason, his boiling temper bubbling back down.

He repeated his earlier action by nodding again, picking a bit of rabbit up and pushing it underneath his mask. You also lifted a bit of the meat to your mouth, clamping your lips over it whilst you tried to feel hungry. It worked to a degree; your stomach releasing a soft rumble as the sick feeling shrivelled away, the two of you eating dinner together. Spending time with each other like this, it made you feel better. Your hunger suddenly sparked back up, your hands moving on their own while you wolfed down a bread roll and devoured the rabbit meat on your plate.

That felt good. A sigh of content slid through your mouth before you could control yourself - flushing slightly once you'd realised your lack of manners. "S—Sorry...I guess I was actually hungry after all..." You mumbled.

Jason merely laughed, his rough chuckles echoing around the campfire and making you feel slightly embarrassed. Looks like he found it amusing...? "C...Cu...ti...e..." He cooed; pride seeping through his tone and showing across his gleeful gaze.

Once he'd wolfed down his plate too, you collected the plates and carried them back into the cabin, dumping them in the kitchen sink as you decided you'd do the washing up later. Jason tagged along behind you like a loyal little puppy the whole time, slinging his arms around your waist and nuzzling into the back of your neck whilst he showered you with cuddles - wanting to keep you company. A nervous giggle left your lips, your body turning around on its own to face him fully and noticing the newly-found warmth in his eyes. How long had that fond look been there?

"So um...what would you like to do? We can go take a walk, or watch a movie, or—?" Jason interrupted your first question by pulling on your sleeve and pointing at the piano, tilting his head as he cocked it to the side. Oh, the girls' cabin had a piano as well!
