"I can't really make anything though." You lied a minute later, leaning against the dinner table as you wanted to delay eating. It's not that you were striving to disobey the male opposite you, but after throwing up earlier today and going through the awkward bath antics, you really didn't feel hungry. That saddened you, because you'd started to get actual hunger back since coming to Camp Crystal Lake in the first place.
Jason let loose an explosive sound, obviously not happy with your procrastinating tactics and prolonging excuses. "L...Li...ar...!" He spat out coldly - not believing your dishonesty for a single second. "S...Sa...n...d..." The killer growled, struggling with his words, "S...an...d...w...i...ch...es..." He roughly retaliated; exposing your untruth with ease.
Crap.
You made two sandwiches; one for yourself and one for Jason. When the male finally returned, you offered him a sandwich - feeling shy again. "H...Hey! Would you um...like something to eat? I-I made two, so..." You held up his plate and he actually took it, nodding and patting your head with his spare hand.
Oh yeah, you'd made him something before, so of course he wouldn't believe your little lie now. "G—Guess I'm not very good at making up things, or lying, now am I?" You blushed and felt ashamed, lowering your gaze.
"B...ad..." Jason scolded slowly, "Ba...d... gi...r...l..." He balled up his fists; realising the sudden absence of his machete and therefore adding to his annoyance. Damn, he'd left it back in the bedroom - too busy freaking out about your sickness to bring along his weapon.
"But I'm just not that hungry." You quietly confessed, crossing your arms and hugging them close to your chest when you suddenly felt the urge to cry. "I just...I just don't want to vomit again...please understand."
The irked male's irritation soon faded; realising that you hadn't tried to be naughty and lie on purpose. You were just afraid of throwing up your food a second time, that's all. He still had trouble keeping a lid over his erratic emotions and quick temper, but he'd always had issues controlling how he felt. He couldn't contain all his pent-up feelings, especially towards you. You needed to eat, because you hadn't eaten a single bite all day! You hadn't even had anything to drink. How would Mommy handle this? Would she get mad at you? Or would she take care of this in a calm and considerate way?
Don't grow riled, my darling boy, that poor girl's gone through a lot these last two days. Take it slow, sweetie~
His mother was right, he shouldn't be so aggressive towards you when it came to simple matters like this. So, after clearing his throat gruffly, he forced himself to address you in a less-angry tone of voice. "E...Ea...t..." Jason spoke firmly, a stern gleam flashing across his glance as he turned his temper down a notch. "P...Pl...ea...s...e..." He added, hoping his newly-collected composure would convince you to eat something...anything.
You hesitated - uncertain about what to do. Your stomach was still slightly sore from being sick, you didn't feel any hunger at all, and the only thing you wanted to do was curl up and rest. But... Jason's eyes...they looked so defensively worried. His ocean-like orbs had dissolved into a stormy sea, with worry acting like furious wind whilst his emotions whirled around wildly. The man's fists were clenched even now, the child-minded killer probably going delirious with concern. But why over something so unimportant? Was it the same reason Anna and Lynda would get so het-up?
"I...I guess I can try to eat a little..." You agreed in defeat, not being able to stand the distress dancing in his eyes. Jason's expression cleared, the wild waves calming down as he cheered up; obviously relieved that you were going to eat something. Wait...hold on a second... Did he...? Did you...? Did Jason just guilt-trip you?! "B—But only a little, okay?! You can't just force me to—" Your argument got silenced once he glared and grabbed your wrist, pulling you outside without any explanation.
