"...he won't go easy on any of you." You snapped at Lynda seriously, clenching your fists while you tried to keep it together. Then, you swept past her - wanting to find Anna as soon as possible. "Anna? ANNA?!" You called in the loudest yell you could manage, your call switching from a normal tone to a shout as you cupped your hands around your mouth.
"(Y/n)?" The blonde's voice replied in relief, you and Lynda spotting the other woman around a mile away. "Lynda, you found them?"
"(Y/n)'s the only one I found, Anna." Lynda told Anna unhappily; the two of you walking up to the blonde and just letting Lynda talk.
"What?!" Anna's face dropped, the other female growing anxious. "What do you mean? Where are the others? What's going on?!"
"Well according to (Y/n), Jason Voorhees is real, and he's going to kill us all if we don't leave." Lynda spoke half-disbelievingly and half-fearfully; unsure of what to take as the truth. "So what's the plan, Anna?"
"It's true! You have to believe me!" You prayed that Anna would take you seriously - because you didn't want to see anyone else get murdered by the masked male. "I had to watch the others die, you guys. You have no idea what that felt like." Your eyes welled up with tears, the droplets of blue slipping down your lashes before splashing onto your cheeks and sliding down your face.
"Oh (Y/n)," Anna's expression changed as she pulled you into a comforting embrace, wanting to calm you down somehow. "I'm so sorry, that must've been an awful experience for you. We...We need to get out of here right now." She decided, once she'd thought about what was going on and what you'd been through.
"You guys need to leave right now." You corrected her, knowing the reaction you'd receive from Jason if you randomly disappeared. "I...I can't at the moment."
"Oh? And why ever not?" Lynda wouldn't accept your answer, deciding to argue. "If there is a legendary serial killer running around the place - like you said - then we do need to get out of here right now! Don't you agree, Anna?"
"I..." Anna looked down at you hesitantly, still hugging you close to her chest. "...Lynda's right, (Y/n). You can't stay in such danger."
"But Jason isn't a bad guy, Anna!" You tried to defend him wildly. "The others kept on bullying me. They threw my sketchbook into the campfire and assaulted me!" Your pleading gaze seemed to reach the blonde's heart and she bit her lip, shooting another glance at Lynda. "They were the bad people!"
"Whether they've bullied you or not - Jason Voorhees has killed people, (Y/n)! Don't you realise that?!" Lynda roared back.
"He's kept (Y/n) alive though, Lynda." Anna interjected awkwardly, the two of them not paying any attention to their surroundings.
"So?! That doesn't mean anything! She could've just escaped!" The brunette viciously retorted and tightened her hold on her pistol.
"I didn't escape." You shook your head before breaking free from Anna's hug. "Jason let me live because he knew me from when I was a kid. He saved me from my-"
"-your abusive father and cheating mother." Anna finished for you in a voice just above a whisper; clearly unhappy on your behalf.
"How did you find out about that?!" Lynda questioned sharply, her face one of anger.
"Because Jason told me." More tears flooded your eyes as you replied. "I bet my mother wasn't even the one to give me the sketchbook...was she?" You shakily asked.
