Something bright was blinding your face, so after rubbing your eyes you opened them; squinting once the sun shone into your (e/c) irises. Man, was it morning already? That's strange, you didn't remember falling asleep... Your hands re-gripped what they were holding onto, your sleepy mind not registering what you were nuzzled against. Oh, you were just cuddled up with Jason...—wait, Jason?! Your eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as you sat up, blush painting your cheeks due to your sudden self-consciousness. You...You weren't used to sleeping curled next to a boy!

"I—I'm so sorry—! I...I didn't know I'd fallen asleep on you...! I—It was an accident—!" You squeaked out shyly, hugging your arms and growing even more embarrassed. All you got in response was a rough-sounding chuckle, Jason being amused by your awkward attitude.

"I...I thought I was teaching you about the stars and constellations..." Your voice wavered slightly, confused and curious to know what had happened. Had it all been a dream? It couldn't have been, the dying embers of the fire and the marshmallow sticks were still there. So what on Earth was going on here?

"C...Cu...u...ti...e..." Jason casually cooed; stroking the top of your hair and cuddling you closer. Your cheeks reddened and you avoided his eyes for a minute - definitely flustered from all the attention you were receiving.

"So...how did you sleep...?" You successfully worked the stammer out of your voice as you asked the male a simple question.

"D...i...id...n't...s...sl..."

"Wait, you didn't sleep?!" You exclaimed in surprise, completely frozen by this point. He shook his head, not seeing the problem. "Why not? Do you have insomnia? Was something wrong? What happened?"

He shook his head again at all of your questions, finding your concern to be somewhat cute. "Di...d...n't...w...uh... wa...n...t...d...di...d...n't..."

"You didn't...want to...?" Jason's response threw you off; the obvious confusion showing in your voice and your expression. "Why ever not? Did something bad happen?" You inquired worriedly, hoping he was okay.

"W...uh...an...t...ed...t...o...wa...t...ch... y...y...uh...ou..." His reply sounded a bit...sinister, especially with the possessive glint in his gaze that went with it. "P...Pr...et...ty... g...uh...r...l..." He psychotically purred.

"Oh, I uh—I don't know about that—" You tried to shift the focus away from yourself - one because you didn't want the attention to be centred on you, and two because you didn't really believe his slightly creepy claim.

Your answer received an argumentative growl, Jason clearly disagreeing with what you'd said. "A-Anyway," You were a tad unnerved by his growl, deciding to just carry on, "Maybe we could get some breakfast? I am a little hungry..." You trailed off timidly.

Like a flash of lightning, Jason set you down and flew to his feet; heading towards the cabin, presumably to make you breakfast of some sort. A yawn slipped through your lips before you could stop it, your hands rubbing at your eyes a second time to wake up properly as you also stretched your legs. Mm...what a pleasant morning. You waited for him and instead gazed at the glowing embers of the flickering fire, your stomach rumbling when you started thinking about food once more. Wonder what he would think to bring you...? You weren't particularly picky, but it wouldn't be very fun if he gave you something you didn't like.

Speaking of which, Jason returned a few seconds later - holding a plastic plate that held a simple bread roll, a juicy apple and some berries. Pretty straightforward breakfast, but that wouldn't make it any less tasty. Then you both sat back down. "Thanks for the food. But have you already eaten?" You thanked him and then grew worried about whether or not he'd had breakfast. Another shake of his head caused you to feel even more anxious.

"Here, why don't you share this with me? I'd only worry if you didn't at least have something to eat." You spoke while you tore the bread roll in half, pushing half of the berries to the same side and separating the food. You didn't really have anything to cut the apple in half, but you dug your nails into the outer skin and used it to slice the fruit into two equal pieces. There.

"T...Th...a...n...k...uh...y...ou..." Jason was incredibly flattered by your kindhearted gesture, taking the halves and slipping half of the bread roll underneath his mask to eat.

"Hey it's all good," You started munching on your half of the apple, "Last night was really fun though, wasn't it? With the piano playing...and the marshmallows...and those stars... It was the first time I've really hung out with someone before."

Your comment caused the man next to you to clap his hands together, Jason giving an overexcited nod as he agreed with what you'd said. "I don't know about you, but I didn't really have many friends...I used to spend most of my free time by, well...by myself." You told the truth and he clenched his fist - crushing the remainder of the bread roll.

"M...M...e...t...to...o..." He cleared his throat before speaking, his voice set in a gruff growl.

"You did? Man...if only we'd grown up together." You sighed; slightly disappointed.

"F...Fr...i...eh...n...ds..." Jason sternly spoke, trying to tell you something.

"Yeah, exactly! If only we'd been friends, it would've been a lot more fun—"

"—Fr...ie...n...ds...!" He snapped as he insisted on whatever he was trying to tell you. The male next to you even pointed towards you and back at himself, repeating the action a few times just so you'd get the message.

"So we...we were friends...?" You did your best to decipher his strange communication - Jason giving you a curt nod as confirmation. "But that's...that's impossible! I don't even remember my childhood - let alone Camp Crystal Lake!" Surprise flowed from your tone, your eyes widening due to your sudden shock.

Jason huffed and shrugged his shoulders, acting like he had somewhat given up. Maybe...Maybe he was mistaking you for someone else... Or perhaps he was making it up in order to make himself feel better...? Either way, you didn't remember being friends with Jason when you were younger. All you remembered was sitting alone in the children's home, clutching your-...Your sketchbook. Another sigh left your lips once you recalled what happened to your sketchbook, hating how cruel the teens had been to you. The masked man noticed your sudden sadness, tugging on your sleeve as a silent way to ask what was bothering you.

"It's...It's nothing. It doesn't matter." You tried to cover your tracks and lie about how you were feeling, but one glare from Jason quickly stopped you from lying for too long. "It's just... I wish Kathy and the others hadn't burnt my sketchbook... Now I don't have anything left to draw with..." You bit your lip, bemused when he vanished again. Where was he off to now?

You received your answer after he came back; holding several sheets of paper, some coloured pencils and a few crayons. Wait, was he-? "Oh no, no, no, I don't draw in colour. Sorry." You held your hands up and awkwardly smiled, not wanting to disappoint him too badly. Your answer only made him growl again, obviously setting off some sort of landmine.

"Really, I can't even remember the last time I drew with coloured crayons or pencils—" Your voice wavered with a trace of nervousness as Jason thrusted them in your direction - forcing you to carry all three items. "Honestly, I haven't used colours since I was a child."

"D...Dr...a...w...pr...e...t...ty... pl...e...a...se..." He begged in his usual broken tone, clasping his hands together in a prayer-shape and awaiting your answer.

Man, Jason really wanted you to draw in colour. But...you hadn't drawn with colour in such a long time...did you actually want to? "I...I guess it wouldn't hurt to draw with coloured crayons and pencils for a bit..." You spoke hesitantly. After his glare vanished, he instead waited for you to draw something - his blue eyes bright with expectation.

Well, here goes nothing...
