Waking up knowing it is the "best" day ever (Note the Sarcasm). Taking a hot cold shower, grabbed my long sleeved white polo shirt and skirt jumper along with the cow girl black boots that are above my ankle, knowing that me and Kim will be wearing the same uniform today.
I got myself a ham and cheese sandwich and a cup of coffee, I glance at the time and it is still 5 sharp. Getting bored, I curled my hair in loose curls to emphasize my loose curls that seemed to be a bit messy, brushed my teeth, applied powder and hair spray in my hair, grabbed my keys and bag and drove to school checking my last time check: 6:30.
Entering school with pure boredom written on my face, I sat on the cafeteria waiting for Kim or the girls until my phone kept beeping. I answered my phone.
"Hello. How may I help you?" I say calmly.
"Good day Scarlett." The voice sounds awfully familiar.
"Dad?" I say, unsure.
"Hey Scarlett cheeks. Miss your dad?"
"Of course I did old man. How are you?"
"I am totally fine. I remarried like your mum did. I was planning to meet you tomorrow since I'm not busy and you know how I miss my Scarlet cheeks." He says in a caring voice.
"Where will we meet?" I ask him.
"I'll pick you up at your apartment and I'll drive you for dinner for us to hang out."
"Okay Dad. Tell me about your new life." I encouraged him and I heard him chuckle.
"My wife is short but she's very sweet and lives children unlike you." He laughs and I roll my eyes. "I have a step son and another son that my wife gave birth to but its my child. My step son is around your age and my wife is an awesome cook."
"That's cool dad." I smile.
"How is your mom?"
"I'm not living with her. Venus became a psycho after I left during you guys signed the divorced papers." I say in a stern voice.
"I knew I can't trust your mom with you. I wished I took you with me. I'm really sorry I left you alone."
"It's okay dad. Mr. and Mrs. Anderson took care of me."
"I see. Thank Dave and Sabrina for me. I got to go. Bye Scarlett." He says as he ends the call and saw Kim looking at me, legs crossed and arms crossed.
"Is that... uncle James?" He asks and I nod. "What did he say?" He looks at me concerned.
"Father and Daughter bonding tomorrow. I agreed since I miss him despite he wasn't there for me." I trail off getting sad and wanting to cry but I blinked them,not wanting to cry today.
"Call me if he does something fishy." He says as the bell rings and we split up going to our classes.
Mr. Hart started his class but he gave this as a free period for the project in Economics or nothing. Jason went beside me and gave me his million dollar smirk girls swoon over and I swear I wasn't lying I got annoyed by their stares that I got lucky that I got him effortlessly unlike them.
"Are you free tomorrow?" He asks and I shook my head in disapproval.
"Sorry. I had things going on." I told him but he nods in assurance.
"What about the day after tomorrow?" He asks me and I nod.
"Why?" I ask him and he just gave me a smirk.
"Nothing. It's a surprise." He says and the bell rings. I am not stupid enough not to know you're asking me on a date for the project.
