SHIT! I cursed mentally as I jolted, sitting on the bed as I felt a sharp pain on my back but it doesn't affect me much. I coughed and Owen looks at me.
"I think you need to rest for today." Owen smiles as he stretches his arms and I gave him a weak smile.
"Take a shower and eat breakfast. I'm not going to school." I told him and he kisses me on the cheek.
"I'll give you some medicine when I come back." He says in a caring tone and my heart melts in such affection he displayed on me.
"Go. Take a shower. I'll be fine." I reassure him.
"You sure?" He asks me.
"Yes. I'll call Kim to pick you up and send you back here in dismissal. Don't leave without Belle and Hunter, is that understood?" I say in a stern voice.
"Roger that Sherlock." He smiles as he closes the door and I sigh in relief. I grabbed my phone and dialled Kim's phone. He picked up on the second ring.
"Hey." He says with his groggy morning voice.
"Can you fetch Belle, Hunter and Owen to school? I don't feel great." I lie.
"Okay. I'll send them back for you. Take care of yourself." Kim says in a reassuring tone and I gave him a small giggle.
"Thanks. Love you dork face." I giggled.
"Love you too Butterfly." He snickers and ends the call as I slump into bed and wait until they leave.
Went to Google and searched "how to surprise an eight year old" and surprisingly, nothing impressed me and I had to spend a lot of money.
"Improvise Scar. There is always an alternative." I mumble to myself as I pace around the room. Thinking that I should wrap Owen's gift first, I grab a cut out black silk cloth and grab the spell book and the wand from the drawer. Placing them on the flat cloth, I put the book on the center and wrap it along with the wand with the delicate soft fabric. Securing them with a red ribbon that I use to tie my hair when I'm still 6 and hid the gift under the bed.
It was true, I am sick but that doesn't stop me from going to the grocery store. Taking a quick hot bath, ate some fried salmon that Belle left for me and wore my high waist navy blue shorts and a maroon spaghetti strapped shirt with designed beads that is lined on the top base but isn't itchy on my lower collar bones.

cover my face, I brought my wallet and bag with my phone inside and drove to the s grocery.
Grabbing a basket, I bought some macaroni and bacon that are already sliced thin and Ham that are cut out into squares. I decided to buy more cheese for my baked macaroni.
I paid for my stuff and bought a set of piping tips along with the plastic wrap attached to it and drove home.
Texted Fidel that I got her number and opened my door and placed the things I bought on the counter. I took another quick hot shower because I feel sticky and stinky at the smell of fish at the grocery. Wearing my comfortable black bunny slippers and my black bathrobe. It's weird after not wearing it for a long time and I can't seem to close my cleavage part, it just covered some space but not all. I still wore a bra and underwear in case people might knock on the door.
While waiting for my hair to dry, I boil the macaroni and melt the cheese on a separate pot. While waiting for the macaroni to finish, I texted Jason and Trey that their invited to Owen's birthday. Jason is bringing Adriana along to help and I smile.
I also messaged Kim that he should buy a gift for Owen. He quickly replied that he already did and so did Belle and Hunter. Grabbing the Ham and transferred the macaroni into a glass pot along with the cheese, ham and bacon and placed it in the oven for an hour.
