Ever read those romantic books about a shy good girl falling for a playboy? Yup. I read those kind of books. A lot. Very cliche for a cold jerk like me, I am the bad girl in the story. Or as I think I'd be.

Sighing as I stretched my arms and fixed my bed, I took a quick hot shower and wore my black loose sweater and ripped blue jeans to go to the grocery since I ran out of food for the month.

I counted the budget I have every time I go to the grocery and placed $500 on my wallet and grabbed my keys to my precious motor bike. Applying powder on my face was enough for me as I look at my satisfied face. I hurriedly took the stairs with wild footsteps as I fire up my engine and drove away.

Glancing at the time on my watch, it's still 9 in the morning. Too early but less people. Grabbing the empty cart on the cart aisle, I go straight ahead to the dairy section and grabbed three cartons of milk and two small bottles of creme for cooking.

Next of, I head to the frozen section and my eyes landed in a sale in the fish and ravioli section. Smiling like an idiot, I grab two packs of each then a bunch of ham, turkey, and bread, and of course three packs of cheese.

Looking satisfied of what I will buy, I went to the counter to pay for the food and grabbing a Ferrero chocolate .

"290 dollars Ma'am." The beautiful cashier smiled as I took out my money and the baggers put my items in a paper bag. The cashier gave the change as I mouthed a thank you and slightly nod as a mini bow, which became my habit every time I buy or say thank you to someone.

Grabbing the bags and placing them in front of the bike, I drive thru to McDonald's to treat myself coffee and chicken nuggets and drove home.

Grabbing the bags as I went home, I place them on the counter and munch on my nuggets whilst watching Sleepy Hollow on TV until I heard a knock on the door. Sighing as I stood up and open the door, Mr. Dolores showed up.

"Good morning Mr. Dolores. How may I help you?" I say kindly, trying to lessen the coldness of my voice.

"Your rent fee is due today...if you must know." He trails off as I nod.

"I can pay today. Wait for a sec." I say closing the door and grabbed the envelope for the rent with $3000 inside. Opening the door, I gave Mr. Dolores the money.

"Thank you Scarlett. I'll be coming back for the receipt." Mr. Dolores smiled and left as I closed and locked the door and continued eating my nuggets and slurping my coffee.

Getting bored of watching TV, I glanced over my bedroom window and I'd be lying if I said the sun doesn't hurt my eyes. Closing the curtains shut, I smile with satisfaction. God, I act like a Grim Reaper than a vampire. Oh wait, even vampires do that. Silly!

I read some books on Wattpad and found an interesting book of a wolf who found his mate. Whilst reading, I put my headphones on and listened to "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran.

A knock is heard on the door as I opened it, knowing it is Mr. Dolores. He handed me the receipt as I thanked him with a slight nod on my head and locked the door until a foot got in the way and I rolled my eyes looking at Kim smirking at me.

"Good morning Coley." He teases me as I let him in and locked the door.

"What brings you here Dork face?" I mocked, teasing him back.

"I got bored and decided to go here to enjoy your delicious cooking. Why?" He smirks as I crossed my arms and he slumps himself on the couch.

"Does mom and dad know?" I ask. I already call his parents mom and dad since they act more like one than my biological ones.
