An Assassin's Priority (Book 1 of the Cole Series)

Waking up with another sharp pain at the back, Belle came to my rescue and did the technique she did yesterday. I thanked her and took a quick shower and made coffee while Belle showered quickly and ate breakfast with me while Hunter combed his hair and ate with us as I drink my coffee and Hunter ate his bacon. I washed the plates while those two get dressed and me deciding to put my hair down for the day and folding the sleeves of my long sleeve white polo and adjusting my skirt and wore my heels and put my guns in the strap I tied on my right leg with ammo on the left leg and grabbed my bag and keys.

Belle and Hunter seemed to be ready as I drove ourselves to school and Hunter ran to his friends and me and Belle head to the office and Kim was smiling as a greeting.

"Morning." We say to Kim.

"Morning." He said back.

"So Trey's your step bro?" Kim asks and I nod.

Belle and Kim talked on the couch and talked while I try to concentrate on the papers in front of me. Whilst getting the last five papers, an unexpected sneeze was released and Belle looks at me.

"Your having a cold." Belle says.

"I know." I gave her a small reassuring smile, "I'm alright. It's just a runny nose."

So much for a runny nose, it was more than that. I sneezed 10 times at Ms. Carter's class and Jason asked me to go to the nurse but I declined. Ms. Carter gave me paracetamol for my pounding headache.

At recess, I only ate a burger with hot chocolate. My cold got better and I sneezed less but I'll cut off my schedule for the afternoon and decided to answer Ms. Carter's given homework.

I put my headphones on for concentration, I start answering my homework. Somebody knocked the door when I'm on the second page. I stood up and opened the door.

"Hey." Trey smiles as I let him sit on the couch.

"What brings you here?" I ask as I sat on my chair.

"Owen told me to give this to you. He kinda sensed that you're having a cold so he went to the convenience store with mom and bought you some Advil and Decolgen for your colds." He smiles as he places the medicine on the table.

"Owen also told me that he'll have some ice cream sandwiches when he gets to your place." He adds and I laughed.

"He's very thoughtful. Tell him I appreciated his actions." I smile and he nods, closing the door as he left and I'm back on my work.

Answering the last paper down, I drank some Advil and I am in love with Owen's thoughtfulness of giving me some pills. Smiling at the thought, I'll by more ice cream and bake more cookies.

Finding some information about Owen, his birthday is coming the day after tomorrow: August 24.  Knowing that he acts like me and we have alike traits, I gave him a book of spells that I don't use anymore and my wand.

Waiting for the bell to ring for dismissal (I skipped lunch), I made myself a iced mocha latte and poured it on my water bottle and took a sip. Belle came in the office with a knock and sat on the couch.

"I'm so tired." She wines while taking of her shoes and lying down on the sofa.

"I know. Want some hot chocolate with marshmallows?" I kindly offered.

"Yes please." She replied and I turned on the brewing machine for hot chocolate while grabbing some marshmallows inside the fridge. As the machine pours the hot chocolate on the mug, I put a big handful of marshmallows just as how Belle liked it and placed it on the coffee table.
