"Sure. Come in." I smile as I let him enter and we slumped ourselves on the couch.

"Thanks." He smiles at me which caught the attention of Spark. His tiny paws run across the white marbled floor to hug his Papa like he claimed him to be.

"Papa." He smiles with his tongue out, wanting to play.

"Papa's drunk Spark." He reasoned out as Spark gave out a sigh and went into my room to get some shut eye. After all, it has been a long day.

"Why do you have to drink? What about Adriana?" I ask with worry. You'll never know what and why is he drinking for after all.

"She's with my mother, asleep." He says in a low tone.

"You tired?" I ask him as I drank some lukewarm water in my favorite black mug.

"Nope. Not yet at least." He shrugs while resting his head on the arm of the couch.

"I have a question." I brought up the topic to make some honest talks with this guy. If he is the lover that I'll have and Angelic Savior that mutants call, I must know if he's worth it.

"Go ahead." He raises up his head and faces me as I sat back on the couch beside him.

"What am I to you?" I ask with full curiosity which led him to be speechless. I want to be honest with my feelings and I hope he gets that.

"You're no other typical girl. You are that girl I would like to have in my arms everyday and protect her from anything and anyone who harms her but she's the one who does the saving and not me. I would wait for her to open up to me because I seem to... love her already." He gave me a heartwarming smile. And with that, tears flow down on my cheeks smoothly. So this is what love feels like.

"Thank you. I never heard people appreciate me." I weakly smile at me.

"What about me? What am I to you?" He asks. I give in a deep intake of breath before I speak.

"Well... I thought you are just that player that typical girls swoon over. Ever since we got close, I have mixed up feelings every time you protect me and in a way took care of me. To put it in a simpler way, I do feel the same way that you do. I care for you and your safety." I gave him my shy smile that I never let out for the past 14 years.

"Thanks Scarlett." He blushes a crimson red. Cute.

"Let's hit the hay." I yawn.

"You are forgetting something." He smirks and I gave him a confused look.

"What is -" I was about to ask until he cuts me off with his lips pressed against mine, leaving me startled until I melted along with the kiss.

He'll forget about it by tomorrow anyway.

Letting go, I gave him a small smile as I stand up on the now cold marbled floor and left him on the couch as I head to my room; closing the door slowly and slumping myself on the bed. Touching my lips made my cheeks heat up but made me smile. Sadly, I don't think that he'll recall this moment that is somewhat important to me.

Since there is a week of school, I woke up 8 in the morning, took a hot shower and ate cereal for breakfast. Washing the bowls and scrubbing the sink, I felt a wave of déjà vu for some reason that I don't know.

"Urrrgghhh..." Jason groans as he sits up. Grabbing an Advil and a glass of water, I slowly walked towards him and sat beside him.

"What happened?" He groans, massaging his temples. Of course he forgot what happened.

"You got drunk and crashed here for the night." I state simply, losing all the hope I could get.

"I see. Thanks for letting me crash." He says awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.

"How did you know I stayed up late?" I ask.

"I remember but not really the rest. I only remember you letting me in and the party at Mason's." He says slowly.

"But I thought Mason's...nevermind." I state. He can't know that I killed him but he saw him so this must be some shit Venus planned. I have to talk this shit to Kim. "Okay bro. Take a shower. I'll give you some spares from Kim." I offered.

"Thanks." He gave me a toothy grin as I got the spare clothes left by Kim and placed it on the sink hurriedly. Nothing to do, I boiled water and made some soup. I chopped the cabbage, chinese lettuce and added a bit of salt. The burning hot soup boils; making the delicious smell travel to the whole kitchen.

Placing the hot soup on two bowls, I placed them carefully on the table with a spoon each. "Smells good." He inhaled the fresh scent of the soup, sitting down and drank it in the process.

"Is it good?" I ask.

"It's the best. Thanks Scarlett." He smiles and continued eating his soup until he winced in pain.

"Are you okay?" I ask him as I held his shoulders securely.

"Yeah, but something stings. Like someone wrote something on my back with a knife." He sighs.

"I could tell. It's bleeding." I smile. Slowly unbuttoning his buttons, it did have runes written on his back.

Angelic Savior.

"Let's clean this up." I guide him to the couch while I rush to the kitchen to get a clean basin and a clean white towel along with the first aid kit.

"What does it look like? Is it that bad?" He asks full of worry.

"Well, there is actually something written down." I clean the wound with the towel. "It's nothing much important." I reassure him, lying to him as well.

"Are you sure?" He doubts my reassurance.

"Well it's up to you if you'll believe or not." I kiss his cheek and went to my room.
