"I can say, this case is giving me a headache." Kim rub his temples.
"How long are we up?" I told him.
"Too long enough. It's already 2 in the morning." He yawns.
"And we didn't have a wink of sleep! Not to mention, we have school today!" I panicked and stood up.
He groans and slumps his head on the office desk. If it weren't for finding the information and solving the case for more than 12 hours, we wouldn't look like shit. Heck, we don't have time to sleep either.
Getting the files and placed it inside my bag, I followed Kim to his car and he starts driving to his house. The moment we entered his house through the window, something moved.
"What is that?" I asked him.
"Oh. It's my pet crow, Vincent." The corners of his mouth formed a small smile as the majestic black bird came to Kim's shoulder when we came down.
"Do I still have extra clothes here?" I ask him.
"Yeah. At the closet." He replied as I grabbed my clothes. What's left is my old red sweater and ripped jeans with my cologne that I use everyday.
I went to his bathroom and took a quick hot bath. I had no choice but to use his shampoo and his body wash that smells like olives. I wore my spare clothes and borrowed his sister's black converse.
Getting out of the shower, I felt a sudden pain at the back of my head. I winced in pain and Owen came into my head.
Help. He mouthed.
I grab a piece of paper and wrote that I have to leave and jumped on the window and teleported to my room in the apartment.
Just a bad dream.
"It's okay. I'm here." I kissed his forehead and wiped his tears. I watched him until his breathing became even and checked the time. 4:00.
I brewed myself a strong cup of coffee to keep me up and saw Jason lying on the couch. He's been here a lot.
Decided to fry some eggs and cook rice, thoughts run on my head. Jason. Owen. Hunter. Belle. Spark. Trey. Those were the most important people that I care about the most.
Hannah.
She remained a mystery to me. Her beautiful ocean eyes like I remembered, looked into my hazel ones. Her small hand held mines and Donovan's. She let me feel like she was my child. The purest thing that happened to me before Belle became my friend.
Why did she have to die like that?
Tears fall gracefully on my cheek. I loved her. I searched for her even when I found out Donovan was cheating on me with the hottest girl back in 9th grade.
She's dead now.
There's nothing I can do. It hurts. She's like the sweetest and the most beautiful child that entered into my life. The information me and Kim got from the Boss was wrong. She's not five. She's already 10. Her name is not Hannah.
^ lazily at me.
"Yeah. Actually haven't had a wink of sleep." I gave him a small smile.
"Are you still planning to go to school?" He asks.
"I don't have a choice either do I?" I sigh and served breakfast and we all sat and ate.
"True. But I wouldn't recommend it. You've been working." He says worryingly.
