"Daehwi! Saan tayo ngayon?" Somi said as soon as we got out of our classroom. Instantly, I heaved a sigh of relief as I looked back and eyed our classroom door, going further and further away from me.

Maagang natapos ang klase namin ngayong araw na 'to. May meeting lahat ng mga teachers sa last period. I was very thankful dahil maaga kaming pinauwi. At last, I wasn't in that room anymore. To hell with it. I couldn't stand staying there for another second.

"Anywhere is fine." Sabi ko sa kanya. She reached for the pockets on her side at inilabas ang phone niya. With a smile playing on her lips, agad akong naintriga sa kung anong ginagawa niya sa phone niya. I almost caught a glimpse of what was on the screen pero hindi ko rin nakita dahil agad akong napansin ni Somi at parang isang ninja, mabilis pa sa kidlat niyang itinago ang phone niya.

"Ano yun?" Tanong ko sa kanya. It looked like a checklist pero hindi ako sigurado.

"Wala." She shook her head at binigyan ako ng isang awkward na ngiti. What a suspicious smile. Pinanliitan ko siya ng mata, obviously not buying it.

"Wala nga!" She said, a little flustered. Hmm. If she acts like that and say it's nothing, it makes me more curious!.

"Tara na nga, bilisan na natin!" She pulled me hastily. If I know, this is her attempt para makalimutan yung checklist niya. Well, kung ayaw niyang sabihin then, I'll just leave it like that.

Teka nga. Saan kaya trip nitong si Somi pumunta?

Both of us made it a habit to hang-out after classes. Well, it was mainly her inviting me out para kumain o di kaya'y maglaro or do other stuffs she wanted to do. I was merely accompanying her since I'm free at wala naman akong gagawin.

"Gusto mo pumunta tayo ng amusement park?" Napatingin ako sa kanya with a suprised look. Amusement Park? Out of the blue?

Even though I was reluctant to agree, I nodded anyway. Wala namang reply na 'no' ang tatagos sa tenga nitong babaeng 'to.

Habang kinakaladkad niya ako papuntang amusement park, napamasahe ako ng sintido ko. I looked back at what happened today. I honestly feel so drained and tired today at parang konti nalang ay bibigay na yung mga paa ko.

Back at the classroom, I didn't know how to react when I suddenly saw Samuel on his seat. I was so surprised that he was finally back. I guess nasanay ako na wala siya dahil matagal-tagal din siyang absent.

All the time in class, hindi ako makapagfocus sa lectures ng teachers namin dahil conscious na conscious ako sa kanya. Parang lumiit ang classroom namin and honestly, it was a bit stuffy for the both of us today.

Samuel was..well, he acted normally. Unlike me who was nervous about seeing him again. He was normal in a sense na para bang walang nangyari and it was weirding the heck out of me dahil alam na alam ko kung anong nangyari nung araw na 'yun. He talked to me like it was nothing, like it was the usual. On the other hand, I felt so awkward but there was no sign of that in his face.

What the hell happened after I left that day?

Something surely happened because he was away for so long.

I bit my lip as I tried to think of the possibilities.

Did it actually go well for him?

No way. That's...that's impossible. They're cousins kahit na sa papel lang. Soorim...She would never cross that line.

But based on how Samuel was acting, maybe it did. Maybe Soorim did gave him a chance and sila na ngayon.

But...that's too impossible. There's no way that could happen. Soorim wouldn't do that. Hindi magagawa ni Soorim 'yon.Unless... she decided to forget about me.
