Chris was working!

Denny's POV
So we're walking down the picturesque beach with Darcey!
Personally I thought it would of been a perfect time to talk about us, if there is an us.

After walking for a bit Darcey started a conversation,

"So Uncle Case, is Denny your girlfriend?"

Casey looked at me with a questioning look on his face and I assured his look,

"Yeah I guess," a smirk found his face and I reflected it!

We got to the boat shed and Alf was working in an old dingy,
"Ah g'day young Denise"
"Good morning Mr Stewart!" I said respectfully,
"Hi Mr Stewart," Darcey said brightly,
"Hello little Darcey," then he acknowledged Casey,
"G'day Casey, has Heath left you on babysitting duties?" Alf said referring to Darce,
"Yeah," Casey said with a chuck,
"Well Denny, you can take the day off to help Casey with Darcey."
"Oh Mr Stewart, you really don't have to..."
"Yeah I can handle Darcey can't I?" Casey said looking down at Darce,
"Oh no you can go we don't have much to do today!"
"Ok if you insist," I said willingly,
"I do insist!"
"Ok bye Mr Stewart,"
"Bye Denise," then he looked down, "Bye Darcey, bye Casey!"

We walked up the steps onto the balcony of the diner,
"So breakfast?" Casey asked,
"I've already had breakfast!" said Darcey,
"Well then I guess you can't get anything here," Casey laughed,
"No, no! I can still eat!" she quickly corrected herself
"You're definitely Heath's daughter!"
We walked in and Irene and Marilyn greeted us cheerfully!
I kinda wished we'd went somewhere else, because Chris was working!
