Wolves' Howling High [Completed]

~ Chapter 4 ~

A/ n: So, before starting, I wanted to say that I'm not having any exams anymore. Finally! So, I'll try to update more books. By the way, I'm free to help anyone who is in trouble. That is 'Love'. Yup, I helped out my friend in school who needs relationship pieces of advice. I did help. Just that her so-called boyfriend ignored her. So, I'll try my best to help yours. If possible. Now, Let's begin

After looking at myself through the mirror, I slowly walk out the bathroom and look for an outfit to meet EN. Not too fancy nor too casual. I rummaged through my closet and I guess found my outfit. I wore a black mask to cover my weir smile If I ever did. I tie my hair to a high ponytail. I look at the time and it's almost 5. I took my bag and took my phone out. I texted EN the place and what I wore. (Below is the outfit vv)

I ran downstairs and Eomma stopped me.

"Jewel? Where are you going now? Have you finished teaching Ein yet?" She looks at me worriedly.

"Yeah, I'm going to meet my best friend, EN. He's in the park. And yes, I did teach Ein. He's just too lazy at school. I'm going now. Bye Eomma!" I hugged her before leaving and ran outside.

Instead of riding my bike, I decided to walk to the park. It's just around 3 blocks from my house. I texted EN along the way too. He said he will be there 5 minutes late since he needs more time. I don't know why. So, I look around and saw myself arriving at the park.

When I reached there, I texted EN.

"Hey, I'm here already... I'll be by a tree. Just remember the picture I sent you. -J"

I look around and start looking for a place which I could tell that that certain tree is where I could rest against. I finally found a place where I could rest. I run towards a hill with a tree on the top of it. When I reached there at the top, I sat against the tree and decided to put my headphones on. I rather listen to music while waiting. My favorite song was played through my mind. (The song is below vv)

While listening to my favorite song, I look through some old pictures on my phone. After scrolling down for like... twice... I found a picture. A picture which has someone who missed dearly. My other best friend. I never thought he would move to Korea. He said his parents have a business plan to do there. Tears fall down and end up on my phone's screen. I regretted for saying bad things for him. Even tho he keeps forgiving me. I still want to apologize him.

"J? Is that seriously you?"

I snapped out of the daydream and look up to see who said 'J'. To my surprise, it was Ein. He has a jacket on with his tail brushed. I wiped my tears away and look back down. I turn my phone off and stood up with my headphones down to my neck.

"Finally, we meet EN," I look at him with a smile.

"Are serious right now?!" Ein who still in shocked.

"Heh, I thought you're happier to see me tho," I hold my left arm.

"J? As in Jewel? This whole time?" Ein starts to get a bit more dramatic. "Yeah, I am happy to finally meet you. But as in Jewel. That's just surprising."

"Yeah, I thought you'd be another person. As in not Ein. But, hey, here we are meeting together," I smiled.

"Yeah, you aren't lying about your outfit. It looks good on ya'. Plus, you look cute... To me," Ein blushed.

"T-thanks. I don't want to make things the wrong way..." I look at him.

"Oh, and sorry for making you wait. And why were you crying?" He asked.

"Oh, um... I just missed someone who I lost... Don't want to talk about it," I gave him a 'Nope' look.

"Okay... The reason why I was a few minutes late was getting something to eat... I brought snacks," Ein hold up a basket.

My face lit up and smile wider. I thought this goes bad. But, it didn't. I guess Ein is my best friend who I will still call him EN. We sat down and ate snacks. We even get to talk to each other for a while. Ein told me that he I was a bit harsh in real life and not in the game. I also talked how he acted in school and promise me to act more well-behaved in school for me.

"Well, I better get going. It's almost time for me to go home," I stood up and pick my bag up.

"Me too. Well, nice to officially meet ya' in person, J" Ein offered me a handshake.

"Nice to officially ya' too, EN" We shook each other hands and went our separate ways.

I put my headphones back on and listen to my second favorite song. I put my phone in my pocket and walked back home. As I open the door, I saw Eomma with Shadow talking. But no sign of Kookie or otherwise, Kuro. I close the door behind me and put my headphone away into my bag. 

"Hey, I'm home~" I chirped.

"Oh, Jewel, you're back!" Eomma came and hugged me.

"Jewel, where were you?" Shadow came and asked me.

"I met my best friend, EN at the park. Why? Don't tell me that you were worried about me," I pouted.

"You got me. I'm always aware. Plus, you know how I get whenever one of you guys gets lost or kidnapped," Shadow chuckled.

"That's Okie. At least I'm here. Is Appa home, Eomma?" I asked Eomma, looking at her.

"Yes, Lil' Cinnamon. He's in his office room. Go ahead, say 'Hi',"

I ran upstairs and dropped my bag halfway through the hallway on the floor. I stopped in front of the door to Appa's office and breathe. I knocked on the door couple of times. Then, the door opened to reveal Appa with a smile.

"Appa!" I hugged him.

"Cinnamon!" He messed with my hair and laughs.

"I missed you so much!" I snuggle myself against Appa's chest.

"I missed you too, Jewel. I knew you'd be off somewhere while I was home," He looks at me.

"I was at the park with a friend. He's nice. I promise!" I stated which makes Appa laugh.

"You're so cute~ Did you make friends while in school?" Appa asked.

"Yes! I have Woops and Pokelaws as my friends!" I smiled.

Appa and I left his office and went downstairs. Kookie was near the door with a collar in his hand. I look at him, slightly confused. Why would he have a collar in his hand?

"Appa, I'd promise to work for you now..." Kookie gave the collar to Appa.

What's with that? Why work for Appa? What's Appa's job this whole time?
