Wolves' Howling High [Completed]

~ Chapter 36 ~

Jewel's POV

"I have kept it for a while now..."

Alice took over me and eventually she made me envolved into a huge grey wolf with blue markings on my tail and my face. I look at myself and I grinned. I turned to see Shadow. He smiled at me and I face towards those two wolves. One of them growled louder while the other faced me.

"You're going the hard way..." 

I heard one of them said.

"Well... Tell us both EXACTLY what did our father did?!"

One of them snickered. I was still focused on both of them. Shadow took a few steps forward as the other wolf walked towards him, eye to eye. I placed my hind legs a bit near my front paws as I remember Shadow's move from yesterday's event. I was planning to launch myself above the white wolf while Shadow gets the red wolf.

"Look... Sir Conny have indeed left you three for a deal. A deal that one of you three work for our leader. The others have to work with our Leader's second hand... That's the whole thing. Now, you HAVE to work with us!"

I growled. The white wolf looked at me and started to target me. Shadow saw it and bite the red wolf. From there, the fight starts. I slashed my claws on the white wolf and dodged the red wolf's attack. Shadow tried to help me at the same time while fighting off the red wolf. 

"You four! Stop there!"

We all stopped to see Yuuta at the end of the hallway. I whined and Shadow howled. The two wolves dropped their ears and tail as they looked shocked. They let us go and scattered. Yuuta ran towards us and tend to Shadow's wound or injury first. 

"You alright, Shadow?"

"I'm fine... They threaten us..." He went silent for a while. "For now..."

"I knew I should have followed you. Jewel, are you okay as well?" Yuuta looked at me, concerned. "I should someone to look after you as well..."

"It's okay, Yuuta~Senpai! I'm alright. Father signed a contract, Huh..." I look at Shadow who appears to be looking a little disappointed somehow. I called Shadow but he didn't answer. I call him again but this time, he looks at me, slightly pitiful.

"I'm sorry, Jewel. I guess I have to work like Father signed for. While two of you work for the Second Hand..."

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I'LL JUST SPEAK TO MY MASTER ABOUT IT!" Yuuta yelled in annoyance.

"Yuuta~Senpai... Father has signed a contract which requires one of us Connys work for Father's contractor while two of us work for his Second Hand..." I calmly explained.

"Ah... I see. No matter! Change back and I'll teleport you both to my Master's place. I would like to have a word with him..."

Like Yuuta told us, Shadow and I turned back to ourselves. He cast a spell and a portal opens up behind him. He offered me his hand and Shadow held mine. Yuuta dragged us through the portal - teleports us to someplace - and welcomed by several men.

"Welcome back, Yuuta~San! What brings you here?" One of the men asked.

"Is Master here? I need to talk to him..." Yuuta's tone deepens.

"Of course! You're lucky that he also would like to see you..."

Yuuta gestures that he brought guests and they allowed us in. When we walked into the office, two men were standing by the door. Yuuta - still has his serious look on - went to the table and tapped on it.

"Master... I need to ask for a favour... if you're willing to help that is..."

"Well... well... You brought the Connys?" A young man eventually spoke.

"Of course... Sir Conny apparently signed a dangerous contract. I would like that contract to be broken..."

"Well, your wish is my word..."
