~ Chapter 22~

~+ Alpha's POV +~

I turned to Miles and Bethany to see them looking shocked. I could feel myself in a huge cage with pain all over me. I asked Bethany if she could accompany me the whole day. She agreed and Miles told me that Bethany would transfer to our school by tomorrow. I have to admit. Bethany cured my pain and I didn't care about Jewel. But... Miles did tell me something about Bethany.

She's a Dark werewolf.

"Alpha~ Could you please show me your whole school?" She pleaded.

"Why not? You comforted me. I'll give you back my favour!" I smiled.

~+ Kishi's POV +~

I was just walking with Kuro when I saw Alpha with someone unfamiliar. I ran towards him and tap on his shoulder.

"Oh, Kishi~Kun!" He smiled at me.

"Uhm... Who is she?" I asked.

"Oh, this is Bethany! She's gonna be our new schoolmate!" 

"Oh... Well, I hate to say this. But you better get to class. We have three minutes..." I warned him.

"Oh, really? Could you go and tell Mr Pocks that I'm guiding someone? Thanks!" 

Before I could even say a word, Alpha left with that female student. I told Kuro about Jewel and we both hurried to our class when the bell rang. After a while, the school ended. I ran towards the front gate of the school and grabbed Alpha's arm when I saw him.

"Alpha!" I yanked him.

"What is it?" He calmly asked.

"Don't you wanna see Jewel after this?" I asked him.

"Uhm... I have plans... Sorry!" He smiled at me politely.

Huh... Weird... Usually, Alpha would be worried. This is getting weird. I rushed back to Kuro and told him if Alpha's acting strangely. Kuro didn't believe me. I sighed. I told him it must be me overthinking. I shrugged it off. But my Kitsune instincts tell me that both Jewel and Alpha are acting weird. But just as I was about to turn to my direction which where my apartment was, I saw a glimpse of Bethany walking towards Alpha.

I turned to their direction and it looks like I'm not going insane. Or either seeing things. Is this real? Alpha with another girl? I thought he cared for Jewel?! I couldn't stand watching this... I better tell this to Jewel as soon as I get back.

But right now, I have work to finish...

~+ Shadow's POV +~

I was cleaning up the Student Council when someone barged in. I could see that familiar collar. 

"Well, Kishi... What's this about?" I asked as I dusted off my sleeves.

"It's... Alpha... and Jewel!" He tries to take breathe each word he says.

"Slow down. Breathe and talk fluently, Kishi," I politely instructed him.

He took a few breaths and he slowly told me a few things. He told me that Jewel has acting weird yesterday. As for Alpha, he has someone by his side and didn't even cared to know about Jewel. I knew Alpha since both Jewel and himself young. Alpha would care a lot more about Jewel than anyone else. There must be something in between. Like... Someone told Alpha something about Jewel or Alpha is in a spell.

"Alright. Thanks for the information, Kishi. Please, keep an eye on Jewel for Alpha's sake," I gave him a quest.

He nodded and left the Student Council room. I have a few things up my sleeves now. First, Alpha's case. Next, in Jewel's case. Hopefully, I can slove both cases as soon as possible. Just as I was leaving the Student Council, I saw my classmate, Miles. He has a sly smile on his face.

"What do you want, Miles?" I coldly said.

"Just wanted to know that Alpha guided a new student. Oh and Mrs Conny knows about the new student already. So, don't worry~" He chuckled.

"I don't want to know about that but I want to know if you did something to Alpha," I grab his collar.

"Nothing... Just a simple little spell~ That's all!" He smirked.
