'Should I join and work for father or just decline it?'-
I kept that same question in a circle. But at the same time... I have the Howling Games coming up soon. I better make this decision! And- I decided to answer Yuuta right at this moment. Right now!
"Yuuta~Kun!" I called him.
"Hm?" He looked at me. "What's is-"
"I'll take your request!" I cut him off.
He looks at me surprised by my answer.
"Request?" Shadow asked as he lifts his head up. "What request?"
"Well... Shadow, you need to take a break and let Jewel work. I mean- Kuro has to help Kishi now and I think you need Jewel's help. In fact, she seems more mature than I think," Yuuta explained.
"That is true..." Shadow trailed off. "I can do it, Shadow!"
"Aight', I let you work for father," Shadow smiled. "Just be careful, alright?"
I nodded. Wait... Did Shadow said something with an Australian accent? I tilted my head and poke Shadow's nuzzle. He looks up at me, puzzled. He eventually tilted his head at the same angle as I am.
"Did you just used an Australian accent?" I asked.
Shadow smiled. "I did."
I smiled at him. Shadow does tend to pick up random accents. He's a silly brother. As I turned around, Yuuta gave me a pat on the head. I smile at his gesture. I mouthed 'Thanks' to him. Ruby, on the other hand, obviously heard our small conversation.
"So, I'll just not going to follow my cousin either again," She bitted her bottom lip.
"That's right. You also have to maintain the student council, Ruby," Yuuta reminded her.
"Right! Jewel too! She needs to prepare for Howling Games pretty soon!" Ruby boasted. "True!"
I smiled at them. Knowing that they're my supporters, I might have a chance to win the Howling Games. Just then, Kishi called Kuro. He seems to be a bit concerned. I walked towards him and asked.
"Is something the matter?" I asked.
"Uh- I have to go. Kuro and I need to pack now. We'll leave tonight to Japan. Apparently, my parents have booked the tickets for us," Kishi sighed.
"Oh! Let's go!" Kuro joined.
"But-"
"Here! A hug before I leave-" Kuro hugged me before I could finish. "Just so you know, I'll be fine. Plus, I'll miss you and Shadow, okay?"
I nodded. As we let each other go, Kishi and Kuro left the house. Leaving Ruby and Yuuta left. I turned behind me to see Shadow, sitting down on four legs. His tail sways side to side. His ears drooped and started to make noises. I smiled at his cute behaviour.
"You want a hug too, don't you?" I teased.
Shadow just pounced on me and ended up hugging me. While hugging, Yuuta and Ruby joined in. Warm hugs from all of us. Comfort vibes surround the area. I love it. Trying to be cheerful is way more difficult than being an ordinary person.
Just then, Yuuta lets go and looked at his watch. He sighed and told us that he has to go. Shadow led him outside as they talked a bit more before Yuuta actually left. While that was going on, Ruby patted my head and I hugged her from her right.
"I feel like your acting like my little sister, Jewel" She laughed.
"I know~ And I like it!" I chirped.
Ruby smiled.
"Ya' know- It's weird that having a little sister around..." She continued.
"Why is that?" I asked. "Because..."
She leaned in closer to my left ear. She whispered; "I have a crush on somebody~"
I gasped at her, surprised. She then proceeds to hush me after. I quickly covered my mouth. Preventing any scream that might escape my mouth.
Does Ruby have a crush? Who is it?! Could it be...?
