It's been a while~ Sorry for making you guys wait for this chapter to come out~! Let's just start with this chapter, shall we? Oh, and this time, no korean words... ^-^
===========================================================================
I was waiting in the living room with Shadow.
Technically, I'm sitting on Shadow's lap... =_= This. Is. Awkward.
"Are you sure mom can fix this?" I asked my dad again to make sure.
"Yes, I'm sure of it" Dad gave me a convincing smile.
I sighed and laid on Shadow's lap like a sad looking dog. I just look at Dad and Alpha, back and forth. I'm just worried that I can't go back to my usual form. I miss my fluffy tail T^T... Gimme it back~
Just I thought my life ended, the doorbell rang and I immediately stood up and look at the door. My dad saw my reaction to the doorbell and he went to the door to open it. I could hear a woman's voice, very soothing-like.
When I took a small peek, I saw mom with completely different hair color. She has light blue hair now. She used to have bright red hair color. She so pretty now. She saw me and looked confused. She asked dad who or what I was and obviously, dad explained everything.
"Alright then, let's get you fixed, Dear~" She looked at me and picked me up.
Slowly, her hand gestures around me like she cast a spell on me. I watch her cast some sort of spell. After a while, she puts me back down. She pets me and I growled softly. She smiles after and I looked at her, still puzzled.
"I fixed you and by tomorrow, you'll b fine. Now, are you hungry?" She asked.
I nodded and we all went to the dining room. I couldn't get to the chair. So, Alpha brought me and placed me on an empty chair and I eventually popped my head out to see the top of the table. Everyone looked at me and smiled. I guess I kinda looked funny and cute.
Eventually, Alpha has to put me on the table or placed me on his lap for me to eat my dinner. He doesn't mind picking any animals up. Apparently, he seems quite happy or in my words, too happy.
I couldn't tell if this is what perverts do or I'm thinking too much about it.
So, I shrugged it off and continue to eat with my stubby hands.
The Next Day
I woke up in my bed and look around. I decided to take a shower and realized that I have returned to my usual form. I couldn't scream early in the morning. So, let's just say I was screaming in the inside for god sake.
I went and took a shower with a nice feeling of relief. I can't believe I can be my own self again. That shower got me a lovely feeling of happiness.
I look at my clock on my bedside table and it's still early. I went and change into my school uniform. Instead of having my ears appeared all the time, I decided to hide them this time. I tried around three times and it worked perfectly as planned.
I just hope people didn't really question my species or my half breed. I just hated that question, seeing others so afraid of different wolves. I'm not that dangerous...
I took my backpack and not take the bicycle. Walking seems more calming and it's been like forever since I was a black fox. I rather walk before I returned back to my hateful form of mine. I didn't bother about breakfast and decided to leave a note on the kitchen table to tell Mother that I have left early.
Just as I was walking out the door. I saw Ein and Ethan again. They both always walk together. I wonder if I could join them again.
"Hey, Guys!" I waved to them.
Ein spotted me but Ethan didn't.
'Huh... Weird' I thought.
I ran towards them and joined their walk. Ein seems happy and Ethan has the opposite.
"Good Morning!" I greeted.
"Morning, Jewel" Ein smiled. "Glad you're back to your form."
I nodded. "I also decided to hide my ears and tail today."
"Hm, good idea!"
"..." Ethan was silent the whole day... I wonder why...
When we reached school, a few students have already arrived. I looked around for Ruby. She's quite tall and not to mention that she's the senior. I told Ein that I have to go and we can meet during lunch. He nodded.
"Ruby! What the hell?!" I heard someone calling Ruby.
"It's not my decision, Jayden! You could have been caught as guilty!" I heard a familiar voice.
I rush towards the voices and saw Ruby with someone who looked very intimidating.
"Ruby! I'm here!" I waved at her.
She caught me waving and waved back. "Jewel! You're back to normal!"
"Huh?" The intimidating student then turned to my attention.
I walked towards them and Ruby looks at me with a puzzled look.
"What's the matter, Ruby?" I asked.
"You look slightly different today," She replied and ended with a "Hm..."
"I have hidden my ears and tail today! I wanted to be careful..." I explained.
"Ah, I see..." She smiled.
"Ahem..." Someone sounded annoyed and we both turned to that person.
"Oh... This is Jayden, Jewel... Jayden, this is Jewel Conny," Ruby introduced me to Jayden.
"Pleasure to meet you, Jayden," I gave him a warming smile.
"It's a pleasure meeting you, M'lady," He bowed.
"Don't mind him, he's a flirt. Another word, Cassanova of the school," Ruby rolled her eyes.
"Oh, It's alright. I... I dislike Cassanovas... Especially when they're going off guard," I glared at Jayden.
He took it as surprised and blushed sheepishly.
We three talked and I got to know more about Jayden. Turns out that Jayden is Ruby's cousin. He just transferred here yesterday. I also now know that a few students here... Especially males... are flirtatious and a bit 'Cassanova'-like. I have to be careful when they're around.
Hopefully, I won't get into those types... I really don't like the feeling of them around me...
To be continued...
