Wolves' Howling High [Completed]

~Chapter 20~

I was hesitant to tell the right answer to Storm. All I did was stare at him. Like... I misheard him or suddenly went blank. To be honest, I literally heard the whole sentence so clearly until I myself froze in my place. My wolf ears and tail didn't appear, my instincts didn't tingle and my freaking self won't budge to move a muscle.

"Jewel?"

I snapped out of it and tighten my grip. Finally, I decided to say the answer which might hurt me the most.

"I... I'll be... yours for a week..."

I hated the part which I had to and to avoid anyone's feeling. Especially to Alpha and Storm. I faked my smile and held out my hand to him slowly. He smiled and held it. We walked back to my place... I mean Kishi's place. I nudged Storm to let go and he let go. I whispered to him "Goodnight" and he whispered back the same.

I slowly walked to the door and unlock the door. I turned around to see Storm there waving. I waved back and went inside. I saw Kishi there, looking at me dumbfounded. His ears twitch and his nine tails are swaying softly on the floor, in sync. I lowered my head and kneeled down and bowed.

"I'm so sorry! They made me transfer! Mom told me it's fine! B-but I know one of you guys will be upset..." I apologized which I feel like I wanted to cry.

"I... I'm speechless, Miss Conny..." Kishi's soft voice smoothens the atmosphere.

"H-huh? Y-you're not mad at me? Kishi~Kun?" I slowly look up and saw his sweet smile.

"It's alright, Jewel. Your mom told me and your brothers. Including Alpha. He's just..." He sighed.

"W-what's wrong with Alpha?!" I quickly stood up.

"He... He won't talk to anybody and he just straight up looking very intense..." Kishi offered me a hug.

Obviously, I would hug. I slowly walk towards him and hug him. I tighten my grip on his 'Kimono' outfit and think of what Alpha might be doing. I sighed and Kishi pet my head. At that moment, my wolf ears and tail appeared and slowly, my tail wags. Just like Kishi's tail. Softly, gentle and slow. I thanked him for the hug and he told me it's time for bed.

"Yes, Kishi~San! I'll go to bed~" I cooed.

I went to my bedroom and took a shower. When I was brushing my teeth, I could see that my wolf ears are still there. I guess that means I'm still soft and urging to be pet by someone. I know that well but I should try to be cheerful as I can the next day and be less extrovert as I can. Hopefully, I can pull this 'I'm-New' attitude off and avoid any contact with any dangerous students.

I quickly change into my sleepwear after brushing my teeth and I went to the living room to see Kishi on the phone. I tiptoed my way back to my room and got a notification on my phone. When I saw it, I eventually know who it was.

It was Ruby.

It looks like she wants to check on me and she has a few questions to ask me. I eventually answer her questions by texting them and told her that I won't be attending 'Howling High' for a week. I even added that I'm going to meet someone for a week. Hopefully, she didn't notice that much. I hated to know that Alpha found out about me and Storm being together.

Just hoping that he won't know, I had to lie. Lie to my precious friend.

~+ A/n Time! +~

I have to add a few people's POV from the next chapter and let's say that when Jewel's gone [Not actual me] a few things happen to Alpha, Shadow and my favourite, Ruby. There will be times which I put back to Jewel's POV but that time will come. I have to tell you from here and not in my other book 'Jewel's Talk & Stuff' nor the announcement thingy. I know some of you won't add my other books. So... yeah. I'm also sorry for have these chapters to 600+ words only. I like to limit myself to prevent any 'Too Much' stuff. Like it will take too long. Anyways, hope you like the book so far. I might add 'A/n' on certain up-coming chapters in the future too. Look out for it!
