~ Chapter 37 ~

Yuuta's POV

My Master isn't exactly my 'master'. He's my father. He works for a company that runs magic users to either eliminate criminals or solve any mysteries as much as possible. At the moment, he has requested a group of 12 men or in my case, my co-workers to accompany me to where Sir Conny was. That is Shadow and Jewel's father.

"Half of you will follow Shadow Conny and two of you follow me. The rest cover Miss Jewel Conny," I ordered.

They all nodded and I pursue to run a mission. To eliminate the 'Lusts'. I have hidden among the crowd near the 'Lusts' Company. Like I planned, Shadow will enter the building with 6 men and the other 4 with Jewel while they enter. But as soon as they enter, I sense something behind.

"Careful! I sense something...!" I told my two men who are with me.

???'s POV

I have cast a spell which allows me to access a portal. This portal takes me outside of my cousin's workplace. I then saw my cousin smiling. He then stares at me.

"What now, Lyucan?!" I yelled at him.

"What?! Can't I just look at you proudly?" He replied.

"Whatever! You better come in, Lust has work for you to do," I sighed.

He stretched his arms out and walks inside the company. I followed him from behind. As I entered, I saw two familiar faces among a group of people.

'What are Shadow and Jewel doing here?' I thought.

Jewel's POV

I walked inside the building behind Shadow and the 6 men he was with blend in with the rest. The 4 men I was accompanied by, they still stand out. I guess Yuuta~Senpai's Master have planned this already. We were then escorted by one young man with blonde hair. He led us to an elevator. But the thing is... Shadow and the 4 men I was with -including me- were allowed to enter.

"You managed to come, Connys," The blonde man spoke up as he pressed the 5th-floor button.

We all went silent after that.

After a few minutes, the bell rang as we arrived the 5th floor. When we exited, Shadow and I decided to walk side by side while our 4 men walk behind us. The blonde guy continued to lead us to a huge room with a large table. The chair has its back towards us.

'Who will it be?' I thought to myself.

The chair slowly turned and reveal a young werewolf with black ears and tail. He wore a fluffy jacket on with a couple of rings on his fingers.

"Well... I see that you have considered working with us, Connys," His deep voice sent shivers down my spine.

"Right... I'll work for you. Jewel will work whoever you picked..." Shadow lowly replied. "Just let my father go and we'll work..."

I watch the scene starting to get dark. The black-haired guy started to laugh with satisfaction. He then snapped his fingers and a portal opens up. Slowly, another young man appeared out of it. He looks a bit like the leader. But younger. He has a purple hoodie on with black ripped jeans. His ears and tail looked a bit purple-ish.

"Luke... This young lady works for you now..." The leader commented.

"Ah, finally! A partner to work with!" This 'Luke' guy stares at me. "Now, in this place we have nicknames..."

'This isn't what I think will go good...' 

"For someone like me... I'll call you, Puppy Girl..." He smirked.

I kept silent. I look at Shadow who looked a bit angry and at the same time, pity for me. Luke eventually walked near me and observed me. The 4 men behind us have been watching us. That's when the leader noticed something...

"Wait- You brought the 'Akihikos'?!"
