RECAP:
Melanie see's Marcus with another girl.
Then she kisses Ryan
The next morning Marcus promises to not let her down again

Although as I left him I could not help but feel this was a lie for his benefits.

At breakfast I sat awkwardly between Marcus and Alex.
The Queen, and my mother in law, stayed by the King's bedside and no longer ate with us.
For the most part I sat and stared at the stained glass window opposite.
The colours of light flew across the table, and I could not help but find it stunning.
"We should get one." Said Alex
I turned to see Alex also looking at the colours.
He continued "We could have it so that in the morning it shines in a way so the light rays shine across our bed."
Marcus snorted and lifted up his glass to avoid Alex's annoyed glare.
I stood on his foot as he was drinking and he spat out the cook's fresh orange juice all over the table. I laughed.
"Marcus! That is revolting and disgusting, you really are a pig." Alex's face was scrunched up.
I laughed even more. Marcus's face was still dripping as he ran off to the kitchen, to get a towel I assumed.
Alex frowned and turned back to me.
"What an animal." He rolled his eyes.
"Alex?" I felt there was something I needed to ask. "Since, we have been married I have not yet had the opportunity to see the country. And as much as I love the palace I would like to see something different. I was wondering, could we possibly leave the gates for a day?"
"Of course my dear, I forgot you had not yet seen Raviena . We shall go on a horse ride today!"
"Am I invited?" I turned to see Marcus entering the room again. His shirt was still stained but he had removed all evidence from his face.
"Of course, as long as you change, I shall not be seen riding around with you looking like a peasant."
"Have you ever seen a peasant with looks as dashing as mine?"
"You are so very arrogant Marcus" Alex shook his head.
"I am arrogant? What about-"
"Enough! Please! Marcus you go and change, Alex go and sort out the carriage and horses, also a driver would be nice."
They both just looked at me in disbelief. Marcus was the first to speak
"As you wish mistress." He winked at me and walked off.
"I shall - I shall go talk to the driver." He went, his expression one of pure confusion.
I sat there at the table, waiting for them. Marcus was the first to come back.
He had changed into a lime green shirt, which matched his eyes perfectly.
He looked very handsome in it, but then he probably already knew that. He started to walk closer to me but Alex walked in.
