Brother's Grimm

Hei and Yuki were running through a wooded area heading toward the rendezvous point where Silver and Laila were supposed to meet them.

"Monkey this is Fox, what's your current position?"

"kzzt...kzzt..."

"Monkey? Spider? Damn something's jamming the signal, I can't get in contact with either of them."

"Think they're okay?"

"I hope so, we're dealing with Tallone after all so nothing's ever truly safe."

"You would know that better than I, she went after your family."

"She didn't go after you."

"We're not really family."

Hei could detect a hint of disdain in Yuki's voice and was about to address it when Yuno came out of nowhere swinging an axe.

Hei blocked it with his blade as Yuki jumped over the both of them and rained down multiple kunai on the both of them.

Yuno and Hei jumped back to avoid being injured but the former kicked the latter in the chest, sending flying to the ground.

Yuki landed and dashed toward Yuno trying to impale her on his serrated blade but she was too smart and fast to be taken out like that.

She immediately sidestepped his attack and grabbed his arm before pushing him forward and smacking him in the back of the head with the handle of her axe.

As Yuki fell to the ground, Hei appeared behind her and slashed at her with his blade, leaving a thin cut on her cheek.

"Heh, you're getting slow Yuno."

"One can't help but make a mistake every now and again. It's human nature."

"Since when are you human?"

"Hehe you've always been funny Hei."

"The fact that you're here shows that Tallone knew we were coming again. Care to tell me how?"

"The answer is obvious, you just don't want to accept it."

Yuki groaned and got to his feet, standing behind Hei while they exchanged words.

"Well my time's up, seems like Laila and Silver just finished off the battalion I sent their say. But it was great seeing you two again."

"Next time you won't be so lucky."

"Looking forward to it."

Yuno smirked and wiped the blood off her cheek as she disappeared into the forest.

Hei was no fool, Yuno had let him nick her to try and bait him into thinking he could actually beat her as he was. False.

He knew what he had to do to beat her and that just wasn't an option, Fox could not be trusted.

Unlike him his alternate personality agreed with their ideals and would most likely put them back under their control.

Besides, there were more pressing matters to attend to.

Yuki was leaning against a tree hissing while applying pressure to his head wound. He didn't care.

Hei grabbed him by his collar and slammed him into said tree.

"Ah!! The hell is your problem?!"

"What was that? Hm, you could've killed me!"

"I'm pretty sure I'd need more than that to kill you."
