Fox struggled to stay on his feet as he sneered at Charlie who just chuckled and continued to lick the blood off his knives.

This wasn't good, Yuno and Ahnisti couldn't help in any way and Sora was definitely out for the count, not to mention the team of super newbs they were facing.

Cain knew he was in trouble but didn't let it show since he had his own opponent to deal with.

However, he wouldn't have to deal with him or any of them for long since he'd just received confirmation that help was on the way to create an escape route.

"So Jan, what's it gonna take for you to let us go?"

"You dying I'm afraid. You've all taken a path of death and destruction so now you must pay."

"You sound like a fucking priest."

"Well I was raised in a Catholic orphanage that doubled as an assassin training camp so of course I do."

"That where you met Zach?"

"No actually, my mother and his father married and raised us as siblings before their untimely end."

"I see."

"I know you're stalling so your friends can come save you my friend. I shall let you leave for now since I do not wish to damage the Queen's home but do not fret, we shall see each other again. Take your scum and go. Zachary, Yin, Charlie, leave them alone."

His comrades stood down and allowed their enemies to be free and laughed as Ahnisti cradled Sora's body to her chest.

Fox was beyond pissed and ran towards Jan but found himself stopped by Cain.

"No...not today."

"But they...argh fine."

Yuno sneered as Zachary made kissy faces at her but chose to ignore it for now since her team was more important than her bloodlust right now.

As they made their way to the door, Jan stood behind them while his team gathered close to him.

"Be seeing you."

Cain led them to a pickup truck in an alley and hopped in the back.

"Get in."

"And we should trust you why?"

"Ahnisti...just do as he says."

Not up for debating with Fox, she climbed in and was followed by Fox and Yuno before the truck pulled off into the night.

No one said a word.

Finally they arrived at nice hotel and went inside through one of the back doors and headed up to the fourth floor.

Cain stopped in front of a room and inserted a key card that unlocked it and opened the door for his allies.

"After you."

"Look Cain, I appreciate the save and all but we have our own-"

"Mama?"

Fox stopped short as a knowing smile appeared on Cain's face. So that's what he was up to.

"Kei. And let me guess, Haise's here too? You brought the kids on a dangerous suicide mission in an attempt to bring Hei back? You must be incredibly stupid."

"No, I'm in love."

"Ugh...fine."

Fox made his way inside the room and found Kei and Haise in one bed while Laila and Silver were working at a desk. What was really surprising though was the fact that Ellie and Yuki were sitting tied up in a corner.
