The lesson with Professor Quirrell had finished, it was around 11:30 and time for History of Magic with Ravenclaw. You absolutely hated classes with Ravenclaw as they were the most stuck up, swotty people you had ever met. Not to mention they were ready to throw another one of their house mates under the bus if it meant getting top marks. That's why you loved Slytherin, everyone had each other's backs. It really was like a family.

Nothing really interesting had happened during that lesson, it was quite boring. You almost ended up falling asleep during one part. So when it was over, you were quite happy, not only that it was over. But because it was also lunch. Lunch was an hour, you spent it sat with Draco, Crabbe and Goyle.

It was nearing the end of lunch and the four of you had all finished your food. None of you had anymore lessons for the rest of the day as first year slytherins have Tuesday afternoons off. Draco was the first to stand up. "Come on, you three. Lets go to the common room." You nod your head before getting up along with Crabbe and Goyle to follow Draco out of the Great Hall. The four of you walked for quite a while before you reached the dungeons. Draco said the current password to the damp stone wall and then you all walked in. He walked over and jumped on the sofa, taking up all the space on it. You just shook your head at him slightly before sitting in a rather comfy armchair opposite him. It was a shiny black leather with a green, snake themed cushion placed on it. "So, Y/N, your father works for the ministry doesn't he?"
"Yes, I mean we do already have quite a lot of money from inheritance and all but my Father still works there. Your father works for the ministry as well, doesn't he?"
"Yes, he works closely with the minister. Cornelius Fudge." You knew that Draco liked to show off to anyone about anything so you let him talk. "Although, like your father, he doesn't need to work either." Crabbe and Goyle seemed to have forgotten about you two since they were having their own conversation. "Your brother, didn't you say he was a prefect for Slytherin before the sorting ceremony?"
"Yeah. When I get into my fifth year I hope to be a prefect too-"
"I know I'm going to be head boy. It would be absolutely stupid if I wasn't." There were a few seconds of silence before he spoke again. "Can you imagine if either of us were put in Hufflepuff? I think I'd just leave Hogwarts, wouldn't you?" You laugh slightly. "Of course. I mean, that house is worse than Ravenclaw and Gryffindor! Why don't they just get rid of it all together?"
"I completely agree." Both of you talked for a while longer before a girl with a black bob and a fringe walked in. She stood infront of Draco and smiled, you recognised her as Pansy Parkinson. She's in the bed net to you in your dorm room. Pansy talked quite a lot about Draco, you thinks she likes him quite a lot. "Hi, Draco!"
"Who are you?" You immediately held in a laugh, she talked about him all the time you spent with her and he didn't even know her name. "I'm Pansy Parkinson! I already know who you are, Draco~." Draco just looks past her and gives you a look of distress. Ignoring his silent cries for help, you sit in the chair and just giggle. "Great, and what do you want exactly?"
"I was hoping to become your friend!" You shake your head before standing up to create a diversion. "Pansy, do you think you could help me with the Transfiguration homework? Professor McGonagall can be quite confusing sometimes and I have no clue what to do. Plus there is too much to vet through on my own." Pansy turned around to face you, she believed you even though you were lying. "Of course, anything for you. You're another pure blood like me, if you need help, I'll help you!" She turned around back to Draco and waved goodbye to him before walking to the girl's dorms with you trailing behind her. "You owe me, Draco." You said this quite quietly so Pansy couldn't hear you, he just frowns but nods in response.

You spent the majority of the afternoon with Pansy, sat on your bed as she 'helped' you with your Transfiguration homework. You managed to turn a match into a needle, unlike in the lesson after a few attempts. And even taught yourself Reparifarge! "Thanks, Pansy. I think I'm going to go back to the common room now." You didn't even let her reply before you were out the door. When you got to the common room Draco, Crabbe and Goyle (along with some other first year slytherins) were there. You walked up to Draco and sat down next to him on the black leather sofa. He laughed at you as you sat down. "Have fun with Parkinson?"
"Oh yeah. You're welcome by the way!"
"I don't remember saying thank you."
"Draco Malfoy, you are impossible to live with sometimes."
"Y/N Avery, you are so mean to me sometimes." You laugh, knowing that he was being sarcastic and thought he was being clever. "Oh, yeah right, and you're not? You're mean to anyone who isn't a pure blood or a slytherin, although - I can see why they deserve it."

You, like Draco, were raised to believe in blood purity and that no muggleborns/mudbloods should be allowed to learn magic. And that pure bloods, like you, were superior. "Exactly. Like that Mudblood Granger. I don't even know why she's here, her parents were both muggles. People like us, should be the only ones allowed at Hogwarts." You nod your head in response to Draco and heard a rumble coming from your stomach. Placing a hand over it, you chuckled. "Guess I must be hungry. Should we go to dinner? It must be starting soon."
"Yeah, Crabbe, Goyle, let's go." The two large boys stand up along with you and Draco before the four of you walk to the great hall for dinner.

It was quite like lunch, in the way that you sat with the three boys as you ate. Surprisingly, you hadn't eaten that much at lunch so you made up for it with the mountains of food you ate for dinner. Draco looked down at you slightly to see you placing another few Yorkshire puddings on your plate and shook his head. "How many of them are you going to eat?"
"As many as I want before I'm in a food coma." You placed another bit of food in your mouth before you looked away from him to clean up your plate. You wouldn't go as far as licking the plate but the thought definetely did go through your mind.

Once dinner was over, you went straight to your dorm room as you were quite tired. You decided to get your copy of ' The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1' and your wand out. You managed to teach yourself the Softening and severing charm as well as the fire making spell. Before you went to bed, you had turned a quill you bought soft, then cut it in half, then set both pieces on fire. The other four girls had come up once you were finished and you were the last one asleep. Using Lumos to start reading your book on potions for your double with Gryffindor tomorrow.
