[Part 37] A Fight I Can't Lose To

Today Ciel has prepared a test for you, to understand your power and strength, and although he didn't want to he also invited Alois and Claude to come help as he knew you were already quite powerful, and he didn't want to invite the reapers as it would get a little more than planned

You yawned, bored, as you left your room with your bag around your waist, it was the same day as when your brother came to see you so you still wore the same clothes, you walked down the stairs as Sebastian and Ciel waiting for you in front of the mansions door "I'm here" you said as you stood in front of them, you already gave them an excuse about your brother but you didn't bring him into the conversation, of course Sebastian knew it was a lie but he also knew that you would never betray them so he let you off and told Ciel that you weren't lying and were speaking the truth "where are the servants?" You asked while looking around as you felt someone grab your hands, your head swiftly turned to them and looked up to see that Ciel was holding them, you tilted your head in confusion "let's go Y/n, they're waiting inside, I'm looking forward to watching you fight" Ciel smiled also trying to forget about Alois and Claude who were invited

But he couldn't as they stood in front of him when the three of you left the mansion "Y/n!" Alois shouted in excitement as he jumped up and hugged you, you pushed him away immediately as he just laughed "now how about we start the match?" Ciel asked as Alois quickly nodded

You standing in the middle of nowhere in the forest, Ciel told you that this was supposed to be the battle zone, although there wasn't as many trees as they usually were, he said that it was so he could see you fight in real environments "this is just a waste of my ti-" you said before getting cut off as you heard rustling in the bushes, you swiftly turned your head head to the direction of the noises to see two men hiding behind the bush as you walked over there "why are you hiding where I am!?!" Sebastian whisper-shouted "I was here first!" Claude replied as they continued to fight like kids, not noticing you standing over there "I need to let my master win" Claude said as you held a poker face "this isn't a competition! We just have to defeat miss y/n" Sebastian said "whatev-" Claude said before getting cut off by you shooting your dual guns at them, although you didn't intend to directly shoot them so you just shot the floor as Sebastian and Claude jumped up and away from their hiding spot "you two are fighting like kids, be serious with this" you said as the two butlers stared at you with serious eyes "hello there m'lady, I'm sorry to do this" Sebastian said before he jumped towards you with a kick as you used your arm to block the kick "I'm not that easy to defeat.." you said as you threw a punch at Sebastian who flew and hit his back on a tree as you received a groan from him, Claude them ran towards you in inhuman speed (obviously) as he threw punches at you but you easily dodged as you threw yet another punch, this time at Claude who also flew as his back hit a tree, also receiving a groan from him, you knew not to directly shoot them as your guns were your death scythe, you then saw three swords laying on the ground, you picked two up as Sebastian picked up the last one, Sebastian was in front of you and Claude was behind "isn't this unfair.." you said as Sebastian chuckled "not with how strong you are m'lady" he said as you sighed "fine" you said as you ran at Sebastian as you pushed him down to the ground as you put the tip of one of you swords on Sebastian's neck, at that moment Claude ran up to you from behind, as he almost reached you he held his fist out to punch you to send you flying but you also pointed your sword at his neck making him stop in his tracks, at that time you accidentally pressed down on the sword on Sebastian's neck as it cut his neck slightly, he quickly held it as he twisted it and brought his sword to your neck, you sighed "I told you this was unfair" you said as you let go of both of the swords, you eyes covered by your bangs "are you giving up?" Claude asked as you smirked and kicked him in lighting speed as he flew half way through the forest, you then threw punches at Sebastian who had his guard down, he also went flying through the forest as you walked out of it to see Alois and Ciel who smiled at you "I take it you beat them?" Ciel asked as you shook your head "I wouldn't say that" you said as Claude appeared behind you with a sword as you held it and your hand started bleeding, from the other side Sebastian ran over to you as you reversed Claude's sword and you were now holding it as you dropped it on the floor as your dual guns appeared in hand, you pointed them at the butlers as you heard clapping from behind you "good job y/n, I guess you passed the test, although I saw that coming, I knew it would be too easy for you so how about we do this again some other time?" Ciel asked as the guns in your hands disappeared "whatever" you said as you walked past him and back into the mansion "well then Ciel!" Alois started as Ciel turned his head to him "what?" He said bluntly as Alois giggled "I wanted to invite you and your servants to a ball I'll be hosting at my mansion~" Alois said with a smile "we're not going" Ciel said as Alois pouted "aww, please! I swear I won't bother you for a week if you come!" Alois said "why do you want me to go so bad?" Ciel asked as Alois laughed "you? No I don't care whether you go or not, I just want Y/n to go~ Whatever then, I can go ask her myself" Alois said as he trotted to the mansion but Ciel held him by his wrist "fine we'll go" Ciel said as Alois smiled brightly "Perfect!~ Claude! Remember to reserve the best seat for Y/n at the performance! Oh! And please bring her over to my mansion first Ciel~ I have variety of dresses to choose for her!" Alois smiled "tsk, Y/n wouldn't want to wear a dress so just go back already, we'll prepare everything ourselves" Ciel scoffed as Alois puffed up his cheeks "Rude~ fine, but make sure she wears something beautiful!" Alois said as he waved as Claude opened the door to his carriage "ta-ta~" Alois said as he stepped into his carriage and gave Claude envelopes "he wanted me to give these to you, they are the invitations" Claude said as he handed over 8 envelopes "thanks" Ciel said bluntly as he turned on his heel and walked back into the mansion "Sebastian go find Y/n for me" Ciel said as Sebastian bowed "yes my lord" Sebastian said as he disappeared to go find you

Sebastian walked to your room as he knocked on the door to no answer, he leaned on the door "m'lady?" He said as he placed his ear on the door to listen if you were inside or not

"Hey, it's not like I'm living a harem series, don't worry" you said as your brother chuckled "whatever, I've seen more than you have, to be honest you have no right to talk when I'm the one who knows more" your brother said with a confident smirk on his face "well you don't know how I'm feeling, having to live instead of dying, being something different instead of a regular human being" you scoffed at your brother as he sighed with a pout "don't say things like that..." he said as you chuckled "yeah whatever.." you said then heard knocking on the door "go!" You said as you pushed your brother who was sitting on the open window down, you looked down to see him glaring at you as he sat in a bush under your rooms window, you sighed as you closed the window, as this time he didn't break it, as you put all the snacks that your brother ate in the trash can "m'lady?" You heard as you rolled your eyes 'oh it's Sebastian' you thought to yourself as you used the tissues in your room to clean your brothers' mess, he might've been good looking, and quite skinny, although he was built, but he ate a lot, Like... A LOT, and he also ate very messily which disturbed you quite a bit but you were still happy as at the moment, he was the only one who could make you smile, you sighed while escaping your thoughts as you walked to the door, unlocking it, Sebastian obviously heard the click from the door as he removed his ear from it and stood in front of the door waiting for you to open it "come in" you said after unlocking the door as you walked to your bed and sat down, writing in your notebook not bothering to open the door for him, Sebastian chuckled as he opened the door as he stepped inside "why are you here?" You asked as you looked at him as he smiled at you "well you see m'lady, the young master wanted me to find you" he said as you sighed while standing up "ok then" you said as you walked pass Sebastian and out of your bedroom

You were walking in the halls upstairs as Ciel wasn't downstairs anymore, you decided to check his office as you knocked on the door but to no reply, you sighed as you were going to walk away until you heard "Y/n" you turned back to the door as you looked through a gap in it, you saw Ciel but you weren't sure what he was doing as you knocked on the door again, louder this time as you looked through the door once again to see Ciel jump up from his seat as you sighed, you looked away from the gap as you waited in front of the door, you heard footsteps from inside as the door opened "Y/n!" Ciel smiled as you walked inside and sat on the chair in front of his "why did you want to see me?" You asked as Ciel chuckled and sat in his seat in front of yours "I just wanted Sebastian to find you, I didn't necessarily need to see you" Ciel said with a smile as you held a poker face "then I'll go now" you said as you stood up and turned on your heel right when you felt a hand holding your wrist as you turned back to see Ciel holding it as he handed you an envelope, you looked at it then looked up at him in confusion as he sighed and sat back down on his seat "Alois invited us to a ball at his manor" Ciel said as you nodded "I'll go" you said as Ciel also nodded "you don't have to dress up, just dress in whatever you'd like" Ciel said as you left his office and went to your bedroom "why does everyone like Y/n so much.." Ciel sighed as he felt jealous "whatever, it's not like she's in the mood to go in a dress anyways, and no ones going to be able to talk to her there so I don't have to worry" Ciel mumbled to himself

The end~ also, I know that it's hard to wait for a new chapter, and I'm terribly sorry for that, but I had many plans to make new ones, BUT OF COURSE THEY WILL BE AFTER I FINISH THIS BOOK, cause I don't want my readers to wait for so long, and at the moment I'm not sure if I should make another book/season 2 for this book or not, but all I know is that after this book does end, I will still write special chapters for you!
