Loki quickly looked back down at the ground when he saw Sigyn. Oh, the poor thing. Just seeing her with that shocked and sad look in her pretty hazel eyes broke his heart. She was so beautiful, even more beautiful than Loki remembered. He had missed her so much. Every woman he saw on Planet Earth reminded him of Sigyn, but he had to swallow his desires and continue on. Thor and his newfound friends just had to come and ruin anything. Now Loki and his family were never going to find a new home. They were all stuck on Asgard for the rest of their lives. That was not what Loki wanted for his family. He did not necessarily feel ashamed of his actions on Earth, but he felt like he failed his family. That hurt him more than he could ever imagine.

He barely even paid attention to what Odin said in the throne room. Loki could not speak back anyway. Odin's lips moved, but Loki barely heard a word. All his mind focused on was the pounding on the throne room doors. Loki knew that it was Sigyn, desperately demanding to see her husband after ages of neglect. God, he loved her so much. After everything he put her through, he hoped that she still loved him too. Loki would feel that his life was completely over if Sigyn did not love him anymore. Then he would definitely feel more like the failure that he already was.

"For goodness sakes!" Odin groaned in exasperation, "One of you go outside and stop Sigyn from causing all this noise! Tell her to go down and wait for Loki in the dungeons! And take that mask off Loki's face!"

Loki was grateful for the freedom of his mouth, but he was angry for Sigyn. She should be there beside him, hearing whatever punishment Odin was to bestow on Loki. "I really do not see what the fuss is all about, Odin," Loki sighed, "Sigyn deserves to be in here if she wants to."

"I am tempted to forbid her from ever seeing you again," Odin replied. "Maybe that will make you learn your lesson, Loki."

Loki deeply breathed to prevent himself from screaming out in fury. He needed to somewhat control himself for Sigyn. She was going to hate him even more if he worsened his punishment because of his tongue. "Do not make her suffer for what I have done. She does not need that."

"You already have. You feel no gravity for your crimes? Of all the war, ruin, and destruction you caused?"

"My sentiment is only for Sigyn and my family," Loki defiantly lifted his chin, "I went to Earth to rule them like a benevolent god, to give my family a new home."

"How foolish, Loki. We are no gods. We're born, we live, we die, just like humans do. Your family belongs on Asgard, not on Earth."

"You cannot tell me how to take care of my family," Loki growled, "you are not the head of my family, I am."

"A true head of the family does not abandon them in their time of need."

Loki gritted his teeth. How dare Odin say such a thing to him! Did Loki need to remind Odin of that day on the brigde, of his funeral? None of them even believed Loki was alive for a second. Only Sigyn never stopped believing, and she was rewarded for that belief. Odin, Frigga, and Thor did not care for him at all. They probably felt burdened by his presence. Sigyn never felt that way about him. He could always count on Sigyn to still love him.

"Can we just end this conversation and throw me in the dungeon already?" Loki asked in boredom and annoyance. "It's not that I love our conversations, it's just that...I do not love them."

Odin scoffed and finally sent Loki to the dungeons. To his dismay, Sigyn was not there waiting for him. He would have thought Sigyn was anxious to see and speak to him again. The soldiers threw him in there and removed his chains, leaving him with other dangerous and hardened criminals. They all stared at him, somewhat shocked that one of the princes of Asgard was in the dungeons with them, and Loki stared at them back with a regal and cold expression. He did not care about these petty creatures. From now on, Sigyn, Vali, and Nari were the only things that mattered to him. Odin, Frigga, and Thor were nothing in his eyes anymore. They abandoned him long ago, when Sigyn never did. He knew that there were probably countless times where she wanted to, but she still did not. Loki thought that she was the strongest woman he ever met, even more than Frigga.
