Hello! I just wanted to say I'm sorry for last chapter, I didn't know what Taco Bell did since I've never been there myself, but...

Oops, I can bend the rules a little bit, right? ^_^

Anyways, I needed to bring Annie into the story somehow.

And also, When I saw that this story already had 5K readers, I almost started crying. Thank you guys so much for reading this story and commenting and voting. You guys are so awesome :)

So with that said, let's GO!!! XD

~Chapter 11~

|Kimberly's POV|

I woke up in my room and I rubbed my eyes with my head filled with confusion.

Matt opened the door and smiled when he saw me. "Hey, Kimmy." He said as he came into my room and sat down on my bed. Poppy scooted closer to him so she could lick his face.

I giggled when Matt pushed her away with a laugh. "Alright, Kim, we decided that you were going to start school tomorrow. We're going to check out the school today, and tomorrow, if you like it, we'll go." Matt explained.

"So we're leaving right now?" I asked. "Yeah, you'll be joining the second grade class." Matt replied. "Okay." I nodded as I climbed out of bed. "Come on, Poppy." Matt called as she jumped down from my bed and trotted outside. "Your breakfast is downstairs, I'll be waiting for you." Matt said as he left.

Once he was gone, I ran over to my closet and picked out some clothes, then I took a shower and brushed my teeth and hair. I got dressed in a white short sleeved shirt with a yellow star on it and my favorite black leggings with a lime green skirt.

I put my blond hair back in a ponytail and my multicolor eyes glimmered with satisfaction. I ran downstairs to see the boys watching TV and eating, but Hayes was not there, he must be at school.

Poppy was eating and I sat down to see a breakfast of waffles and pancakes, Cameron was the cook so I thanked him.

When I finished eating, I got in Matt's car and we drove to the school. It was 10:32 so we were going to get there late, but I didn't care.

Matt took me into the school and led me down the hallway to a classroom. I held Matt's hand and he opened the door to reveal a bunch of kids sitting on a carpet and listening to the teacher reading a story.

Everyone turned around to look at me and I hid behind Matt.

The teacher stood up and walked over to us. She had black hair and brown eyes. She was a kind looking lady with wrinkles on her face and she looked about 50 years old.

"Why hello. This must be the darling little Kimberly I've heard so much about." She said. "My name is Ms. Greystone."

I didn't reply, I just clutched Matt's hand and looked at the floor.

"Sorry, she's really shy." Matt said. "Alright, I'll give you some paperwork, and Kimberly, come join the other kids." Ms. Greystone said.

I didn't move, I didn't want to leave Matt.

Just then, I saw a girl with a brown pixie cut and leaf green eyes walk over to me. She wore blue jeans and a white hoodie. She was an inch shorter than me and she looked like a human toothpick.

"Hello, I'm Mary. Do you want to come to story time?" She asked as she pointed at the group of kids who were waiting for the story. I didn't really have time to answer because she took me gently by the hand and led me over to the group.

Ms. Greystone gave Matt some paperwork, and he started filling it out.

She came back over to us and picked up the book to continue reading.

After story time, we had inside recess, and Mary held my hand as she led me over to her backpack. She took out a few stuffed animals and some blocks to play with while everyone else played with the school toys.

"Here, you can play with Boo." Mary said as she handed me an orange stuffed cat. "And I'll play with Ellie." She added as she took out a stuffed elephant.

Matt was at the little caterpillar table watching us play with the animals and building houses out of the blocks. I guess we became friends because she gave me a tour on the small school at the end of the day. I also got a nickname for her; Fairy.

There were a lot of reasons why I chose that nickname, but it was mostly because she was a small girl and she had the nature and kindness of a fairy.

Finally, it was time to go home, and before I left, she hugged me.

I smiled at her and she got in the car with her mom. "So. How was your first day of school?" Matt asked. "It was okay." I said. "But... Is it okay if I come back tomorrow?"

Sorry I haven't been updating in a while, my life has just been so busy =_=
