|Matt's POV|

We arrived at the hospital with all of us piled in the car, and we all rushed to the entrance, swinging the door open and surrounding the lobby desk. "We're here to see Kimberly Espinosa." I said, and the lobby looked at all of us. "You're all family?" She asked.

"Yes." JackG said and she typed something down in her computer. "Second floor, room 3." She said.

"Thank you." We all said as we rushed upstairs. We got to the room she told us to go to and we almost broke down the door just to get through. Kimberly was sitting up in bed, talking to her doctor with an air mask around her face to help her breathe.

"Oh, sweetie..." I whispered as I walked over to her and hugged her gently.

Annie and the rest of them surrounded her in a group hug and Poppy jumped up on the bed and laid down in front of her to lick her face. She giggled and hugged her around the neck. "Poppy! I missed you!" She said as Poppy's tail wagged.

"We were all so worried about you." Mahogany said. "I've never had anyone worry about me before." She said, and Annie kissed her cheek with a smile.

I reached into my pocket and my fingers closed around something.

"Guys, can you leave me and Annie alone for a minute?" I asked them, and the guys nodded as they left, leaving just me, Annie, Kimberly and Poppy alone in the room.

"I forgot to give you your birthday present." Matt said as he turned to Annie and knelt down on one knee. "Annie Rose Johnson," I started as I pulled a small blue box out of my pocket.

I could feel Kimberly staring at me as Annie gasped. I opened the blue box, showing a sparkling silver and diamond ring. "Will you make me he happiest man in the world and marry me?"
